Thanks, I'm hoping I'm just over "mothering" them, lolIf growth is good maybe they r ok.

Sorry, I should have wrote that better. That was 2 tbsp for the whole amount of diluted coconut water. Just gave them some rice water mixed in as well todayThat's a lot of honey for 1 liter of water. It will be interesting to see how that works out.
Best advice is to feed the plants with a base nutrient (exp Botanicare, or similar) and get your nutrient solution pH dialed in to 6.3-6.5 before watering
If you’re still watering half gallon a day you might want taper that off and let them get a little bit of dry backs, they’re small enough they need a bigger root mass to actually use that much water a day. Here are some more pics. They appear to like lower humidity than vpd suggests, lowered to 55-60%RH. Temps maintaining 76F high and 69Fl low. I have been watering all 3 with half a gallon a day, plan for this coco living soil appears to like daily waterings. I also named the girls, here they are in all their glory 2 weeks from being planted in the dirt!

Thanks, from what I've been reading, coco based living soils actually need more water and never have a dry back. When I initially tried to give a dry back, then they were yellowing. #2 and #3 are a little water logged, but I since I switched to daily waters to maintain moisture levels for the coco, nutrient uptake seems to have stabilized, and they are all 3 growing better. I don’t have any readings just talking from personal experience. Ive had a mom in a 1 gal of nftg #4 soil which I believe is primarily coco based with maybe a bit of peat moss? Have had it for a while now still living off of salt nutrients in a 1 gal just fine. Thanks, from what I've been reading, coco based living soils actually need more water and never have a dry back. So, should I have expected better growth for 2 weeks from sprouting with a dry back?I don’t have any readings just talking from personal experience. there’s a reason smaller pots were recommended to start, it’s because yeah once they have an established rootball going maybe they can be directly transplanted into a larger living soil pot that has even moisture all the time. Imo those plants (and more importantly their roots) are just way to small for those pots and that level of watering. As somebody else said earlier in here if you started with smaller shots of water and worked your ways up to half gallons per day (as thats 10% of your container volume) as your root mass grew with your size of waterings they’d probably be better off. Watch some buildasoil series if you’re going for the living soil approach, can literally follow entire runs start to finish on YouTube.
I am giving them a combined 1/2 gallon a daySo, should I have expected better growth for 2 weeks from sprouting with a dry back?
Sorry I didn’t realize that but still any water that isn’t being consumed by the roots by the next time you water each day is just water logging said roots and that 5 gallons of soil. Are you getting runoff at all? Are you feeling the pots for weight before watering?I am giving them a combined 1/2 gallon a day

It's all good, just been told I've been over watering this whole time. When I let them dry out, they stunted and looked yellow. Watering every day at this amount seems to help them grow. Atleast faster than my buddy who grew the same seed pack last season outdoor in salt nutesThat's assuming established plants and not seedlings in 5 gals, I think its over watering personally I'll be curious to follow along and see how it goes man! Don't be discouraged by anyone sorry if i'm coming across too adamant.
