Short plants, maybe 15". Loads of headroom to move light but these have only got 3 weeks left so they'll gain maybe 3" to 4" before harvest at the most.

K so my 600w at it's highest (now since I let my first grow run wild) is about 30cm from roof to bottom of the light, need 40cm clearance so that's 70cm gone, I have 1.3m to play with. So if I build a SCROG screen with legs 1m high and switch to flowering when the screen's half full, even with a lot of stretch I should be able to keep it all close to level and none too close to the light.

My setup is pretty similar to yours except for medium (going NFT) so interested to see what yield you get, I only have 1.5x the light but with double the space I reckon I can hope for more than 1.5x yours if I don't screw up. Which is why I'm cribbing here and actually making plans hehe

Double the space is ideal... Big tubs is my advice - give the roots as much space as you can... Happy roots = happy plants

Problem with soil is waste disposal for me, with hydro I just have plant materiel I can bag and leave tied to mulch before disposal, and water I can pour away so nothing bulky going in or out.
Hydro is nice simple measurements, check my ph/ec meters, add ph down, nutes or water if needed, any problems I empty the whole thing and go fresh.
Just got to play around and figure out the best use of my space, without actually killing my plants by cutting/tying/scrogging them into pretzels experimenting :P

Really limited on space 60cmx60cm - only 3.8Sq foot...

To produce 1gpw I'd need to grow a plant that would yield 1100g/m2!! (0.36m2 = 400)
