2nd Grow-1 Barneys Farm Blue Cheese+1 Medical Seeds Sour Diesel-Comments Wanted

• Wrapped them both up about a week ago, havn't checked on them since but branches are growing strong.

• Few branches had been tied together for a couple days now, trying to keep the height down and an even-ish canopy. Had to raise the BC again to keep everything level.

• Today i decided to turn both the pots around as branches near the front were getting longer than ones at the back, trying to even things up a bit. Re-tied branches after. Now I've got some sort of experience in LST i'll use a screen next time, make life easier.
  
  
• Still letting the soil dry out.
  
  
• Second fan added, want good circulation and to strengthen up the stalks a bit.
  
  
• Lights have been moved up a bit due to growth.

i told you to expect that wide branching that the BC wants to do. looks like you've got the space issue under control but i wouldn't add anymore plants!! and i've also had to stake up my BFBC because the buds got too heavy for the branches even though they've had fans blowing on them their whole lives. nice strain for sure

• Pruning has to be done on a daily basis to keep up with the increasing bushiness of both plants. Only 1 or 2 main fan leaves have been cut to allow light to reach lower branches, most big fan leaves have been folded/tucked out the way. All lower down bud sites that weren't receiving a decent amount of light were cut off to redirect plants energy.
  
  
• Sour D is 2ft tall, blue cheese a couple inches smaller.
  
  
• String tying some of the branches down to the pots were removed to allow the branches to spring back up a little and create a more even canopy.
  
  
• Very weak nute mix was fed to plants yesterday, 2L each, no run off.
  
  
• Buds are just about starting to form on both plants.
  
  
• Both were turned 180 degrees again as they seem to fit more comfortably this way.
  
  
• Discovered a lot of dust build up blocking the end of the exhausting duct, got trapped on the gauze mesh i had. Decided to just remove the gauze all together and now my temps have dropped to 23.4C lights on.
  
  
• Both plants at this stage seem to be in perfect health, which is always nice to see.

• Lots of new growth this week, the cupboard's filled out very nicely. All bud sites have fully emerged and are now growing bigger. Sour D is standing at 32" from soil, Blue C is at 24" from soil.
  
  
• Did quite a major prune on the sour D to allow more light to reach lower buds but a couple days later new growth had covered them back up again. I am trying to avoid clipping off any big fan leaves and therefore have now started to do a lot of tucking and bending, trying to open up every single bud to direct light.
  
  
• Both plants were fed another full strength mix of nutes (approx. 6 Litres each) with a good amount of run off. They seem to be needing a drink every 4-5 days. I'm trying to avoid letting the soil completely dry out between waterings as i dont need the roots to grow anymore and dont want to stress the plants out at all by depriving them of what they need.
  
  
• I'm really hoping the stretching stops any time now as i'm running out of vertical height. I have about just under a foot at my disposal at the moment before more severe action will need to be taken.
  
  
• Originally i'd planned to do a light flush a number of times throughout flowering, however nearly a month into things and both plants seem to be in perfect condition, nice soft cool green leaves, and now i'm thinking a flush or even a plain water feeding will deprive them of what they need. This stage now is hopefully where the stretch will stop and the buds will grow, and instincts tell me to keep feeding nutes. At the first signs of any over feeding/lock out i'll flush thoroughly with water.
  
  
• All the bud sites that weren't receiving a good amount of light i.e. ones under the main canopy were removed. This is in order to redirect the plants energy to the top buds, hopefully resulting in fatter buds and a bigger yield.

• A full strength feeding on sunday left the BC with early signs of nute burn hours later, so the same night i flushed her completely with 3x the amount of plain water. Lots got flushed out, and she was then fed with half strength nutes. The next day the nute burn seemed to be spreading really slowly, but never the less i flushed her again with plain water and molasses and will now let her dry out completely, before starting on 1/4 strength nutes again. From now on i'll alternate between nutes and water with molasses. 1TB/Gallon. The worst effected fan leaves were cut off completely, whilst others were trimmed. The biggest fan leaves near the top of each branch were the worst effected and quite a few had to be cut off. I'm hoping this doesn't effect the growth of the buds near these removed leaves. At least more light will reach the lower leaves now. This nute burn forced me to prune the BC a lot more than i wanted to. Her buds have grown though throughout the week in spite of this stress, and she's frosting nicely. Hopefully this week she's start packing on some weight. She's 26 inches tall.
  
  
• The sour D (37 inches) took that last full strength feeding fine, and was given a plain water feeding with molasses last night. Her leaves are getting pretty huge now, and a few on the top have started to get yellowish tips. The plant seems perfectly healthy so i'm assuming this is natural. The buds on the Sour D are slightly bigger than the BC, but then again she's always been slightly ahead.
  
  
• Both plants are frosting nicely, the BC smelling sweet and the sour D smelling... sour.
