I totally disagree. My first plant was a Northern light auto grown under a 150 watt blurple and it gave me 3.5 oz of great bud. 150 watt HPS would be fine in a tiny 2x2 tent. As you can see by my previous post I do agree 1000w in that space would likely burn the house down.
150W blurple would be equivelant of about a 300W hps.
Yes, even with a massive hood. 150W hps simply doesn't put out enough light. I have seen people have some success with 250W hps, but it's still not great. What other hps light do you have that you are referring to?
Oh, they're both 1000w. I dont have any 150w ones.

Fair enough, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I stand by it though, 1 1000 watt fixture will not be adequate to cover an 8 foot long space.

If all you have are 1000W lights and a 2x2 tent you should just get a cheap led on Amazon and put in there. Even the cheap ones like Viparspectra are good enough for a 2x2 tent.
