You never want the hoods touching the tent or anything else, they get HOT! For a 2x2 just get a cheap led in the 200W range.

If your running an air cooled hood it should never get over 80-90 degrees. and fuck cheap leds

Lol, here goes another led vs bulb debate. I own both and always laugh at these arguments. The fact is you can grow amazing plants under good LED or good MH/HPS. That is a fact. Hell I got 3.5 oz of good bud off my first auto using blurple lights. Now those I wouldnt reccomended but I still dont get why folks dig their heels in so deep over this subject. Any good grower should be able to acknowledge the positives and negatives of each technology.

Light output and penetration. 150W is too weak to penetrate any distance and also too weak for good growth.

No, it's not about led vs hps. It's about 150W hps being too small to be useful for anything and 1000W being a fire hazard in a 2x2 tent. If it was a 5x5 tent that 1000W would be great, but not for a 2x2

Lol, sorry bud but 1000 watt GPS will do a 4x4 or 5x5 but not a 4x8.
