I have a HPS hood exactly 2 feet wide, would I be able to fit that in a 2x2 tent?

Get a tape measure and measure the exact dimensions of your hood i will do the same with the inside of my 2x2 tent and we will find out

The inside of my tent is 23 and a half inches x 23 and a half inches so it wont fit if it is 24 inches long

Aw, damn. I was hoping I'd be able to line up the air ports on the hood with air holes on the tent to get some extra room, but idk if they line up like that.

Yeah usually tent measurements are the outside of the tent so the poles might take up just a cunt hair to much space for the light to fit.

Its 1000w, I would worry a bit about it connecting to the fabric so directly, might get a bit hot

a 1000w in a 2x2 will cook your plants. Literally. Take a magnifying glass outside and put it over a leaf or something. Thats what will happen.

I believe the HPS socket is the same from 150-1000w. I was thinking he has a big hood laying around or got it cheap used and was planning to run a small bulb.

I just picked up a Zazzy 48"x48"x78" tent for about $100 to my door on Amazon. Quite a few people have good things to say about them on here. All metal poles, went together nice, has good sized solid zippers. It isn't a Covert or Gorilla tent, but its quality exceeds its price

Gorilla tents are TERRIBLE when it comes to functionality. 5 zippers to open and close the fucking thing.

Yeah they are built to withstand a nuclear blast but in order to be "different" from all the rest, they ended up really overthinking things. Theres days i open my tent ten times. Thats 100 zipper pulls (50 open 50 close) vs 10. And you have to fully unzip them like a coat- not like all the other tents where you simply pull one zipper and boom doors open, pull it again, boom doors closed.Oh shit
