Great job man, looks like you got things dialed in!
I tried to start early this year (May 15) but cold snap took some of my ladies... I still got 7 fem's left of Kannibia special
fem 1 cheese and a super bud or something... LOL I will tell you I grew some of that LSD indoors and it's GREAT!! Very frosty!
Looks like your garden is in a good sunny spot. When do you get your first frost?

thank puck, i really wanted to start them a bit earlier around beginning to mid april, but with my current lighting indoors, it was enough to keep them from stretching too much, and in the 2 quart pots i used they didn't get root bound either. Sounds like you should have some nice variety to smoke come fall. me and my buddy just finished a harvest indoors of LSD, white widow, blue cheese, red diesel, and blue hash. The LSD is very impressive, and the two we grew were the nice sativa pheno, stretched like a bitch, but with some lst'in were manageable and were monsters. very lemon lime smell, and potent as all hell. with a flowering time of about 85 days, that particualr pheno would'nt work outdoors where i am, but we also had a couple nice indica phenos which i'm planning on getting some clones of, which will hopefully be able to come close to finish by october. My spot gets straight sun from about 8-9 am to about 6 or so now, so it should be enough sun for them. we tend to get our first frost up here around mid to late september, but i'll let them push through a couple of small frosts if its only for a small period of time. Its that damn wet weather that i dread having them out in. i will let them go as long as i can because the season just isn't long enough for most strains, but i hope to let them go to atleast to oct. 1st. the wet weather and botrytis this past season made me harvest my nothern light blue's on sept. 27th i believe

My lsd was indica pheno but man it kicked! I know what you mean with the mold, I had one of my girl's (local indica pheno unknown origin) and it made one big
bud at the top the length of my forearm but lost 1/2 oz. out of a little less than 1/4 lb bud. It's just where we live and the conditions we have to deal with. I am
glad to hear they will survive a small frost, it will save me lot's of bud in the fall from the stress of wondering whether we are getting frost. LOL I usually harvest
if there is a chance of frost and probably loose some potency. Please let me know how the indica lsd comes out, price for them has come down and am considering
ordering again for outdoor grow next year.

bongsmilie Checked on the girls this afternoon and everything was looking good. the qrazy train was showing some more preflowers which was nice to see. I noted the height of the kandy kush the last time I was out on a stick and I checked it today, and it had grown 2-3 inches. They really haven't gotten a regular dosage of nutes since they went in the ground, and they seemed hungry, so I fed them cal-mag and grow big today. 1 tsp per gal on the cal mag and 5-6 tsp of grow big per 2 gal jug. The soil mixture I made is nice cause it drains well, but it hold the moisture nicely due to the peat in the compost and all the promix. The cheesequake is looking more like a dude which sucks cause I was really looking foward to that smoke ( and it has probably the nicest smell out of the 4). I'm still gonna give it time to really show, then probably take a couple clones of it to do some breeding with indoors, then kill it . heres some photos.

Looks really nice, I feel ya about wanting to see your plants on a daily basis. Looks like they could use some nitrogen, or its the color being distorted by the camera. Good Luck.

Looking very sexy so far, next time your out get a pic of the preflowers if you can lol i didnt get flowers till august last year. im really jealous if you cant tell. It could be me but in picture 9 it looks as if your starting to leave a little bit of a trail through the brush, just thought id point it out as its one of those things that can be easily avoided but can ultimately prove deadly. besides that im diggin those healthy bushes, have you topped at all?

thanks chronic, its funny i tried taking some pictures of the preflowers, but couldn't get my camera to focus on them. They are some of the smallest preflowers i've ever sen on that Q train though, just the smallest little white hairs. tiny calyx's too. Ever since i started using my trail a ton of local game such as deer, racoons, coyote, and ever bear use it.(actually ran into a bear probably 25 feet from me through the brush last year, the one day i didn't bring my machete) I see all their prints in the mud and find their droppings. Its a very secluded area though, and i have a very secure entrance to my trail, so i should be alright. thanks for the lookout though, I'll definitely make sure too take a second look at it next time i'm out. I FIM topped all the plants to form 4 main cola's between their 4th and 5th nodes. THe kandy kush responded very well to the topping and every branch grew right up into tops. I'm thinking into making some stakes out of branches (to be more discrete than bamboo) and lst some of the branches out, so it'll open the plant up more. my only worry is that it may look a little obvious if someone were to stumble upon it. It may happen tomorrow if i make it out there after work.

you are a wealth of helpful information... and your pics look wonderful.

I'm using aerated compost tea for the first time this year

(combining 20lbs of composted cow manure with about a cup of mollasses & organic flowering fertilizer (bone/bloodmeal, feather meal, kelp, myccorizhae, etc) and letting it brew in a trash barrel with a fish tank pump for 2 days before feeding the girls

I've used mollasses before but haven't gone the extra step and made a semi-complex, aerated tea...expecting great results!

Thank Budsmoker, appreciate the kind words. My friend and I a couple years ago brewed some aerated compost tea with shellfish compost, manure, clamshells, and some other stuff which i can't remember at the moment. Had unbelievable results in the vegetable garden. Good luck!

well i was lst'ing the kandy kush and had 3 branches bent nicely to the sides to open it up some more, and then i snapped the fourth one. Wasn't completely broken off, so i made a split to hold it up, and hopefully it will heal. On a more positive note the Jack Herer and Kandy Kush showed female preflowers. I'll post some pics later

Just found one of my LSD clones survived ( first attempt and probably did everything wrong) I wonder if I would get anything
if I put it outside? It's kinda late to start off.

Put it outside man, you'll be suprised. i didn't put some in last year til late in July( but they were started mid march and root bound as all hell) and still pulled over an ounce and a half off them

Good Morning RUI, i was gonna posts these pics the other day when i went out to water, but i was so pissed from snapping a branch on my Kandy Kush :wall: that i didn't even want to think about them. Everything had greened up a bit from the prior feeding of Grow Big and Cal Mag, but the Qrazy train was having some issues. The newer fan leaves and and some of the newer growth was very shiny and had a crinkly appearance to it. Around the center vein of the leaves were looking duller and lighter in color. There were no signs of it on the older fan leaves or some of the lower leaves on the plant. The jack here and the kandy showed female which was nice though.Any thoughts on what the problem could be? PICS 1-4= Kandy Kush before and after Lst, 5-10= Qrazy Train and leaf problem, 11= Jack Herer (Plants look much greener in person for some reason)
