from what i understand youre supposed to transplant into the super soil with a bedding of base soil then let the roots find its way into it gradually as not to burn them on the hot super soil. just make sure the base soil is of quality and is a good mix for your mmj

yep shure suposte to, the soil is good and will mix coir and other great mediums to it !!! also holds water when days are dry so if i go away they should be sweet !!!!

have you seen the automatic watering pots - no batteries, no irrigation, no electrics its got like a resivoir underneath the pot or something !!!!! that would be handy !!!???

Cheers

Keep in mind I am very old school and stuck on what works.
I am sure there are many positive techniques that I don't employ so just because I don't do something dosn't mean its not worth experimenting with.
I find with any more than 4-6 heads your adding to your trim work.

@Subcool...Do you have any experience with Monrovia soil products? I am trying to find an alternative to Roots Organic and other base soil you mentioned. The only place to get those three specific brands are on line and the shipping is like three to four more times the product itself. Thanks in advanced...

I would have mentioned it if I had brother :)
Biobiz lite should be easier to get.

Listen everyone, if you can't find Roots or Biobiz use what you can get and post up the results. I have not driven around the country trying every possible soil mix and I think I covered this topic is sickening detail but how I did learn was by experimenting.
I have used the following soils in the road to the current mix.

Wallmart Gorilla soil
Sunshine mix
Assorted Garden soils
Harvest Moon
Biobiz
Canna Soil
Every product Lowes and Home dePOT sells thats organic or close to it.
Even used Chicken manure before but as I have stated before this current recipe grows the best weed I have grown using a dry mix soil. I see some amazing samples these days grown using liquids so my way is not the only way! But it works incredibly well if you follow the directions. I expect others to tweak and play with the mix

I used 8.0 cubic feet of Happy Frog organic soil. I think it may be a FF product. So far I am getting excellent results. Dark green veg growth. Had to topdress at 4 weeks (into 12/12) in small ( I think 3 gallon) pots. Trying a 5 gal ruin right now. Wil keep anyone interested up to date...

I mixed up the recipe a little over a month ago using Dr.Earth organic soil, It has most of the ingrediants as roots exept a few like coir wich i added myself. I let my freind try it out and he's having great results so far but it has just recently dug into the SS. I only used this becouse i could not find the roots organics soil and didnt want to use FFOF ( I wasnt impressed last time I used FFOF) and the Dr. earth is only 12-13$ versus FFOF wich around here is 23-26$ a bag and has less than dr.earth. Ill post again about how it does after flowering is done.
