Day 57 of 12/12~
Had the morning off so decided to take a few more pics.... glad I did because I found a branch that snapped under its own weight.... quick little wooden skewer splint and I think she's no worse for the wear!! Needless to say these buds are getting heavy!!!!
006.jpg007.jpg008.jpg009.jpg010.jpg * in the forefront you can see the Mad Scientist which is at day 16 of 12/12.... just noticed pistils yesterday:)

gorgeous Donnie! I just salivated all over my keyboard ;) you're getting close now! how are your trichs looking?
no ambers yet.... still see a random clear one here and there... I'm guessing a week maybe?? I usually wait till I find the first amber trichs...wait 2 days and chop!!! lol~ Hardly scientific but it seems to be a recipe for success to achieve the results I enjoy the most:)

hahaha yeah... gotta love the smells! and yeah I don't see anything too wrong with the 'spy amber, wait 2 days and chop' method... you probably get damn near the same result as trying to calculate the 'perfect' amber percentage and is a hell of a lot easier! lol

yep.. I have a cheap jewelers loop so my educated "guesstimate" seems to work well.... hasnt failed me yet:)

looking good donnie!
ty my friend!!!! I'm sold on this light... I had my doubts but this has been the easiest most trouble free grow to date! does it compare to a 1000w HID??? I doubt it... but the pros far outweigh the cons for my setup~ Love it!!!

comparable to a 4002 or 600w but the looks of those buds are amazing i will definitely be getting my eye out for a deal on one after this grow amazing stuff.

Day 72 of 12/12~ HARVEST!!!!

well I spotted the first amber trichomes a few days ago so she's been in the dark for about 36 hours and came home from work and began with the scissors!!!!! I'd say final assessment to be <10% amber... so pretty much where I wanted to be...give or take.
I will say this... supercropping makes for a pain in the ass trimming!!!! so many different tight spots you need to get those scissors in!

Hard to say what the final weight will be but I'm sure 4oz isnt out of the question... could be more as the buds are very dense.... will have to wait and see~
As for the induction lamp I'd have to say we have success...better than HID lighting? probably not... but comparable and the ability to be worry free about temps in July and August is MORE than enough reason for me to highly recommend it!! will be back with another post dealing with final weights, etc. the picture shows MOST of the buds but there are plenty of smaller ones I'm just going to throw on a screen instead of hanging...
Hope you all enjoyed!!!!

no need to wait poly!!! the mad scientist is in the tent at day 32 of 12/12 and I have a sugar punch in veg which will be joining her soon!!! I'll start a new journal shortly for the MS soon so you can keep tabs!!! as the colder weather approaches I may add one of the small HPS lamps to the mix just to maximize yield... I think the induction lamp held it's own but no need not to "tweek" things as the weather allows;)

was hard for me to take a picture with my trusty bud light bottle while they were hanging but I just noticed a bottle of wine in the window sill if you look close... so as you can see, there are some monsters...lol!~!

i could definitely tell. hell each of those blinds is an inch. its an awesome yield thats for sure.

fuck you know what you need to add as far a supplimental? a 150w HPS and a 160w MVB(solarglo for the reptiles). have the HPS come by itslef for the first hour then add the induction and th MVB and then have them go off an hour before the HPS.

great observation poly.... didnt even think about the blinds!!!!!!!
and yes... I have 2 150w hps sitting collecting dust so at least one is going to be introduced shortly:) have to do some research on the other lamp you mentioned... not familliar with it~ ty my friend as always for the kind words!

would be interesting to see you run the induction alone, or 2 of them with different colour temps/spectrum's
i think it would do well without any supplemental hps or leds

great grow m8
food for thought :)

I completely agree.... but trust me the 100w blackstar hanging in the corner of the tent did NOT produce the buds we're looking at here.... I'm giving all credit to the Induction lamp~ this thing is the real deal... a very viable trouble free option to mainstream lighting~
