All this talk about the difference in maturity of kids. Look at an Amish 10 year old and a quote normal kid that plays video games etc. Which child is more mature and in the real world? I know tons of Amish. Religion has nothing to do with it. It's about structure.

I think the main problem with the country is
Everone is becomeing such pussies they cant handle normal life.

Why would you kill a man
1. Causing physical harm to myself or others.
2. To protect life and property (and yes ill call the cops rather then shoot a robber) but if he is armed hes done.


Those are really the only 2 reasons i can think.of for a justifiable homicide.

Not the popular guys are picking on me...oooh cry me a fuckin river.

How many murders are committed with firearms
Vs a good old fassion steak knife screwdriver or hammer , or automobile.

But the Amish don't have guns. It would certainly help to ban guns. But it's not the real problem unless guns are in the hands of people who aren't very grounded in reality. That's a problem with any carry concealed or not. No way to know which is crazier. I own and use guns. I choose not to carry. Back in my day as a youth in my area things were different. But I was from a very rural setting. I would imagine if kids from the city saw us making lard they would have thought we were the Beverly Hillbillies. But in Appalachia. We didn't have any money but weren't envious. But with 2 tv channels our influence inputs were limited. Now kids on Facebook are finding porno ads in kids games.

Funny thing, I used to carry, it was illegal back then. Now it is legal, and because I don't travel in the same circles, I don't.
Bad situations get worse when people are armed.

I will agree bad situations get worse when the wrong kind of people are armed.

(This applies to pussy cops who cant take the heat as well . as in shooting an inocent man when hes trying to show his concealed carry permit)

And by saying the circles you where in

Would you not agree that it was the wrong crowd to have guns?

Lol this is why i carry becuase of all the wrong circles out there that intersect my own circle.

Disagree. You know how many times the excuse "I thought it was unloaded" has been used by some one that acccidently shot someone?

Same with kids. They do stupid stuff. You also can't control if someone breaks in and finds your guns.

As a responsible gun owner that leaves locking them up. Its For the good. Nothing you say will change my mind. Its about gun safety. That just should be part of the rules now like always treat a gun as if its loaded and never point a gun at something you don't intend to shoot.

I sincerely hope that you never have to shoot at anyone and no one shoots at you.
I notice that you mention that you see "psychos" when you are NOT carrying. Do you think there is any correlation between the fact that you are unarmed and how you perceive threats? I'll be honest, I think I felt a difference. But like I said, the circles you travel/live in can def be factors.
I myself have evolved on this issue. Grew up on guns. Every gun in the house I grew up in was kept loaded at ALL times. Hunted.
I never had a huge arsenal at home but my old crowd was so heavily armed that I had access to just about anything (I admit a .50 is a fuckton of fun to shoot).
But after a bad situation,I had to ask myself, am i really keeping myself and my family safe? From who? The government? Not a chance.
My enemies? They too are armed and frankly I would probably never see it coming. Intruders? Statistically unlikely.
Now I keep a gun free house. Not weapon free, just gun free.
I support the right for people to keep guns. But I also believe in the words "well regulated".
BTW, ever notice that often LEOs miss when in shootouts? Unless they are point blank? And they qualify how many times a year?
All bets are off when the shit hits the fan.

Most in the circles I traveled in had many, many, many years of military training and or combat. Who more qualified?
Just because they may be engaging in what some would call "illegal" activities doesn't mean they are the wrong crowd to have guns. I hold the law in fairly low esteem.

2 keep your finger OFF OF THE TRIGGER un til ready to fire

3.Never point the gun at anything you are not willing to see destroyed at all times

4. Be sure of your target and and whats beyond it

If these are followed 0 accidents happen FACT..

I also agree not everyone is capable of it
And should keep there guns in un ready to use condtions and locked sorry i forget i live the sticks kinda lol

You can't garuntee those rules are followed except for yourself. You may very well be right about your kids and nothing happen. You can't garuntee that.

All I'm saying is its smart to lock guns up. Get a rapid safe or two to keep around the house. Teach the kids the combo. Not hard.

I'm sure that when I took my hunters education class they taught to keep guns locked up. Other gun training courses I've taken did.

Its my duty to try to get gun owners to wise up and lock their guns up.

We are at a tipping point that if we don't give a little as gun owners and adopt a few extra rules and lock our guns up we may be facing more guns laws and even up to gun bans.
