1st Tub CFL Grow w/ bagseed

Total days 120 - Flowering 48 days (7 weeks)

Both plants have lost a lot of leaves and were yellowing after I transplanted. Plants were water 1 1/2 gallons of water each. They are in 15" diameter buckets now. I hope I can at least keep them alive until harvest.


Plant #1: Height it is about 31 inches. New growth has appeared on the main cola which is a good sign. Little buds can be seen growing on other stems.

Plant #2: Plant is yellowing and not sure exactly what is wrong. Hopefully it will get better after I am allowed to add nutes again.

Jballs I will measure when I get home but I am growing in a bathtub.

Jballs my set up is 84in x 48in x 24in in the bathtub. The smell is becoming ferocious in the bathroom..... It's almost sickening.

How long do you guys think I have to go until harvest? Do my buds still look premature?

Thanks... I am starting to think you are one of the few who think so. Not too many people have been posting in this thread.

Yh its only that alot of people dont bud using Cfls ...but still lose the tin foil as it makes heat spots (paint it white)

I am not using tin foil. It's a fire blanket, it's almost as good as mylar.

Well I just checked the trichomes on both plants and they are still clear for the most part. So I am most likely looking at a harvest in probably 2-3 weeks. There is new pistil growth which is a great sign because growth had slowed considerably in my 12" pots.

So I actually checked out my trichomes again with my 100x scope and most of them are turning cloudy except on some of the lower buds. Harvest is coming soon!!!

Damn dude. I havent checked in on this grow for awhile and you are doing fuckin awesome. Those colas are lookin fat as hell!!! What kinda soil were you using and how many lights do you have on each plant?

nice coke cans, even better plants

Thanks guys! I know the coke cans are cheap but I couldn't see myself putting out more cash for this grow. On top of that, normal reflectors wouldn't work for the way I have it set up. I am using generic supersoil, you don't need to spend a lot of money on your soil to get a good grow. I am using 20 lights total, 7 42w 2700k, 8 23w 2700k, and 5 6500k. Plant #1 has 11 lights on it and plant #2 has 9 lights. Since I replanted the colas have grown about an inch since I took pictures last and the buds lower on the plant are starting to develop more. I will most likely water with nutes tomorrow.

did u automatically put it on its 12/12 cycle..or did u give it 24 hours of darkness before switching to flowering??

I automatically switched over to the 12/12 cycle because they were both already showing preflowers.

ok cool..and did it work fine for u??..there wasnt any stunt growth or anythin right??

Nope, none at all from what I noticed. They started blooming right away.
