Thats sounding reasonable, but would lifting your plant stress it out any or not enough? and could your roots get any damage from it?

LunchBox I don't see how picking up the pot my plant's in would stress it and tapping the sides would probably keep the roots safe from the lights.

Wow, that one went right over my head, I was thinking to pull the plant outta the pot, srry for the misunderstandin.

Oh. That makes sense on why you thought it would stress the plant. No. We ment keeping the bottom of the pot clear so I could see if the roots were starting to circle the bottom of the pot, which I understand is a tell tail sign of root bound. While the sides would be taped so no light can get to the roots.

Esme has come on leaps and bounds. Daphnie looks like she's a happy bunny too.
Maybe some veg nutes would help that beard too :)

I don't know. She doesn't look small for her age to you? Shouldn't I see some sign of sex by now?
What's wrong with my beard? I like it.

Sorry Neph. Beard looks very stylish. Just my stab at humour.

I'm on the case now so I'll let you know what I think in a jiffy. Any chance you can find out what the average temp was where you live for yesterday and today. Reason I ask is that I'm currently in North West of England which should be cold and wet but temps in my bedroom where the grow is didn't get below 72F at all yesterday and at 2pm it was over 78F. If this is the temp of the cold air going in then the temps inside the case will go through the roof while humidity will drop like a stone.

I think you did a great job with the reflector for the lamp but I can only see an exhaust fan at the top rear of the case. Do you have a dedicated intake?
Also with the exhaust fan, are you using any light trap or odour control measures on it?

I have no clue on the exact temps. I would guess around 70-80F wether the lights are on or not. I live in Texas so I keep the lights off during the day to keep the temps down and they cut on at night to keep the temps up. I don't have an actual intake fan. But there is a big hole in the front of the tower where I took out the cd and dvd drives. I covered it up a bit to help with light leaks, but I think it lets in enough air to get the job done. As for an carbon filter or some other form of odor control, I'm not worried about it. I moved the case to my friends house, and his house always smells like pot so I figured it didn't much matter. Same goes for the light leaks. There are a couple of them, the exhuast being one of them, but I plan on fixing those before the next grow as I don't really have to worry about them at his house.

Reason I asked about the temps was because with the lights on the best you can hope for is around 10F above the temp outside the case. I would expect most pc grows run quite a bit hotter than that. With that in mind you are prolly hitting 90 or more after the lights have been on a few hours and that will stress the plants. Those temps will cause stunted growth and delayed flowering.
I believe if you are running only exhaust then you need an intake vent at least double the size of the exhaust fan to allow enough air in. Might be worth checking this to see that you are getting the best out of your intake.

I guessed about 70-80 because it's warm here during the day, about 80-90F during the day and the case is in a cool area in his house. And about 55-65F at night so the lights keep it warmer. I'll check in to getting a thermometer in there to check the temps. What do you think would be the optimal temps in the case? During lights on and off.

Still just waiting for signs on sex on Esme. Feeding her MG Bloom Booster. I also picked up some unsulphured molasses because I've read that it helps fatten buds. I'm not quite sure on when to be using it or how much. Use during the whole flowering? A tablespoon per gallon?
The MG Bloom Booster breaks down like this:

Total Nitrogen(N)...........................15%
5.8% Ammoniacal Nitrogen
9.2% Urea Nitrogen
Availible Phosphate(P2O5)............30%
Soluble Potash(K2O).....................15%
Boron(B)........................................0.02%
Copper(Cu)....................................0.07%
0.07% Water Soluble Copper(Cu)
Iron(Fe)..........................................0.15%
o.15% Chelated Iron(Fe)
Manganese(Mn)..............................0.05%
0.05% Chelated Maganese(Mn)
Molybdenum(Mo)............................0.0005%
Zinc(Zn)..........................................0.06%
0.06% Water Soluble Zinc(Zn)

Daphnie is showing signs of new growth. I think she's about to have a little growth spurt. Her leaves look different than Esme's. Daphnies are wider a rounder. Does this mean she might be more Indica dominent?

Then there's a new addition. Jarobie. Not much to say. She just broke threw the ground. It's starting to get kinda crowded in the case now.

This last one is her spread eagle.

I'm going to get some duct tape and tape the sides to keep light from the roots, just haven't got around to it yet.

Let me know what you guys think.

90F is about as high as you can go without problems. As long as it drops a bit during the dark and stays above 60F they should be fine too.
Try to take the temps as close to the top of the plant as possible as that's where all the sensitive new growth is.

Nice soldering!

Esme looks great. That LST is really exposing the sidebranches.
I plant my girls up on one side of the pot like you have with Daphnie. It makes sense to do it like that for LST.
Congrats on the newcomer. Hope it's a girl.

Yeah the LST is working like a charm. Lots of light getting to her.

I got the idea to plant Daphnie like that from you, V12. I saw problems ahead with Esme. Eventually some of her leaves are going to end up smashed up against the side of the case. I figured I could just pull Daphnie back like you do your girls. I can just put some wire acrost the whole pot and just keep sliding it back to keep her tied down as she grows.

Thanks for the good wishes for Jarobie, I hope they all are though.
