Looking to flip at most likely 8 weeks veg. Here are a couple of update pics. Still dont know what I am doing on the scrog. will def affect harvest, thats ok. Should I start cutting lower branches off or wait?

What week are you at? I was at 4 weeks veg when i flipped my clones. Hope its ok to show difference.. 1 week after flip. They will stretch a lot and fill everything.

Absolutely ok to put up pics for comparison. I am at about 5 weeks. I started scrog way too late. Still I will get something....... My screen is 41x48. Here are a couple of pics from yesterday.

Looks great. Keep spreading the taller branches outward. Malawi likes to stretch. I am 60% full and she is stretching nice. You definitely not too late. My 1st scrog, i was too late and had to supercrop. What a pain trying to fit the screen over top. Looks like you are 30% filled. A few more weeks of veg but if she starts expanding fast..60-70% full, flip. She takes 2 weeks to make hairs after flip.
Plant really looks healthy.
 
Well another day. Here are the pics for today. Been removing fan leaves daily to keep the light penetration going.

Why? What's out of control? Looks super. How close is your light? Try raising the light a little to force a small stretch. Flip in a week, then lower lights again. If you feel the screen is 50-60% filled, flip. Outer branches need to stretch to fill edge. You will still need to pull tips under and move them over a square or two for 2-3 weeks after flip.

Thanks for input. Since Ive never done scrog Im not real confident. Ill wait a week. Ive been working long hrs so havent really had much time to take care of it. I need to do some trimming and get some of those branches bent over. Here are some pics from this morning. Height is probably 28-30 off of the top. Ill measure tonight.

When minor bending, need ties and pliers. Pliers can squish stem enough if they are too big. Then tie in place for a week or 2. It's similar to supercropping. I had to supercrop my last malawi as i was late on the screen. Turned out ok.
Count the squares left to fill.
 
Been working 10hr days 70 miles from home so not much opportunity to even look at plant much less tend to. I switched to flower a couple of days ago. 10 hrs on. I am adding 1100ppm to the rez today so it will begin a gradual raise to 1100. Swapping metal halide out today to a Hortilux super hps.

Looks good. She will start the stretch with room. It will probably take 7-10 days to see pistils. She looks great. You take a clone yet?

sorry been super busy had to make the 750 mile drive to Kansas this weekend. My God how desolate. Got some good barbeque though so that helped. No hairs yet. Growing like mad. Here are the new pics. Wont be doing a clone as I wont do another grow for a bit after this one.

If you can, pull a few under the net square and spread them out to reach corners.. looks healthy. My early guess is 9-10oz dry.

Thanks for your continued input. I am grateful. I hopefully will have a press by the time she is harvested. If not thats ok. I wont get to see her again till friday as I leave before the light comes on and get home after its off. should start seeing hairs in a few days.

She is looking big. How is the humidity? I start to remove 50% under screen. Might stop stretch. That will yield lots..

Nice to have a system that allows travel for days.
