Get the blue lab truncheon mate for ec no need to worry about it drying out or a need to leave in solution.

Just use drops for ph, as your in soil ph should never be a problem you should be able to water with ph 8 straight from the tap and the soil will buffer it. 100% of the time, soil is like a sponge it will hold onto shit for ages and trying to change its ph will take ages. If it's even doable.

I'll see if I can find picks, I once had a soil plant that I only ever watered with coca cola for 2months she suffered no adverse effects.

Ppm is more important as once you've over ferted because of the sponge like nature it takes a while to leach out causing more and more burn.

@j very nice growth man, have you done this before lol it's not just co co that's made yours faster, when gardening indoors environment is everything....and by the looks of it yours is proper on point. Again very nice mate.

Do you use straight coco or do you mix things in??

Oh and if your not using them a product containing bennies is a must I highly recommend the bio link plus benificals stinks like fish but even in my Dwc works magic.

I use an 80/20 coco perlite mix. Usually use B'CUZZ coco but trying a new brand this time called COCOGREEN. A couple of quid more expensive but I better grade.

Chem nutes but with every transplant I use Mycorrhizae fungi and every couple of weeks I add Trichoderma.

I know the chem based nutes aren't helping the bennies but with often enough application they work well.

As for my environment, yeah its pretty dialed in. Hi of 25.5C lo of 21.3C RH hi 59% lo 39%.

That RH will change though once flowering begins. Then after a few weeks the dehumidifier will have to come out.

Cutting tonight for 8 then its a couple weeks til I flower. Yippee. Lol.

thats why i been looking at im going to flush them out tomorrow with plain tap water 18ltr pots how much water through each?

then im gona leave till im back from amsterdam sunday see if they dryed up and start week on nutes i have sum cal mag defiency stuff just incase of under fert

i will get pics tomoz to see if yous think i should cut for 8 and leave for 2 weeks aswell or just leave from now with 4?

IMO you shouldn't flush.

Flushing can cause a drastic reduction in rootzone EC leading to reverse osmosis of the roots.

Leeching would be a better way forward which is just watering as normal but with plain water for a few times.

Why do you think you need to flush?

well just the way the leaves looked and they look as though they are drying but humidity doesnt drop below 40 and go over 65, i have just moved the light a bit more away also got my self a little stand i can raise the smallers pots for my clones to sit round side and flower as normal in gona pot them up tomoz from veg room as few clones starting to root now aswell, little bit veg under cfl then fill the edge of tent and if to much i can always take them back out if space needed but can compinsate not topping for 8

I still wouldn't flush personally.

I would use the leeching method first for a few waterings if you're worried of over fert.

I think next time I'm gonna try and make them stretch a little more as where I've cut for 8 and then need to tie down, the stem to tie down to level those 8 heads off isn't very big. Lol. I think I can feed them less and move my light higher to force a little stretching in the nodes. Make it easier for the training.

Its going to be hard tomorrow to tie them. But damn it they're gonna get it! Lol.

I flush every single time I feed. Its called Making It Rain, I use 5.8pH water to flush and then mix my nutes and coat them.

The ol' Riddl3m3 technique! What kind of medium of you using these days for PH 5.8 FM?

I think its important to clarify a couple things.

First, flushing with organic ferts isn't typically necessary is mostly counterproductive. Flushing with synthetic nutes on the other hand is sometimes necessary, and in some cases recommended if using a soil-less medium and pushing aggressive amounts of nutes into the plants to avoid buildup.

Second, the term "flushing", to me, means running 3-4 times the capacity of the container of water through the medium, followed by a 50% strength feeding. Watering with runoff is completely different.

I had great results with synthetic nutes running 30-40% runoff through the medium for every feeding to ensure that buildups were "pushed out" and replaced with a fully diversified and abundant nutrient feeding. That method also allowed me to filter and meter runoffs to make sure I was getting out very close to what I was putting in to confirm there were no buildups.

It did look like maybe they were hit a little heavy in the 10/1 update, but your 10/3 update looks healthy to me. Feeding may not even be necessary just yet if you used a quality soil mix.

Anyhow, it looks like the they're ready for 8 man! Nice work!

I am using Soil, I dont use 3 to 4 times though. If its one gallon container I do one gallon of 5.8pH water then I wait 15 minutes and do a feed of a half a gallon @6.5pH. Yes I did get it from RM3, he has his own site now, its a good one too!

Man he had some really nice threads. I started using Jacks based off his results with CMH, making it rain and Jacks baby!

I'm interested to hear why you like to flush with PH 5.8. Please share! Is that how RM3 does it too or is that something you started from your own experience?

There was a group of some cool cats that went over to his site. I registered but didn't remain active b/c I was partial the 600 and some other threads over here.

Yeah I followed his way of doing it which was 5.8pH. Did you remember Lumi? He recently passed away! Very sad but at least he isnt suffering no more.
