The only consolation is that I got some freebies.. but I owe that to the attitude , not world of seeds. And its not like I get to pick the strain for my freebie .. so the only real bonus to that is that atleast I know my seed is femenized

And I know .. I get it.. dud seeds happens , its just part of the game ... But I still feel like I got robbed. I mean , I did pay for it.. its not like since the seed didn't germ I get store credit or sum sh*t. So basically they get to sell me a seed , I get nothing , they get paid , and both parties are supposed to b happy ??? I know it might sound ok to yall. but to me... Hell no !!! In my hood u sell somebody a bag of b.s. bud . They gonna come back wanting their money back.. might sound crazy , but I've seen fights start over this, and u would b surprised how fast something so small could escelate into a situation which people end up getting hurt.. now I'm not saying I'm trying to take it to that level of ignorance. Not over a seed, and besides that's just not my character. But... The point I'm trying to make is......... Well... Idk what point I'm trying to make is , I just don't like paying for a a service or goods and not receiveing it. And I feel like they take advantage of that because they know the product is illegal and we can't really complain about it .
Maybe you can elevate yourself above the crowd by accepting it as a part of life and gardening/growing and just move on?

Shit happens and with something like seeds, nothing should be expected as a guarantee. You take the risk when you buy the seed, I am sure the breeder/seller didn't say anything about a guarantee.

Sometimes it's just better to move on or you may be preventing yourself from getting another strain from them and that strain could end up being your favorite to grow. All I am saying is that it seems petty to hold a grudge over this issue. Maybe if you ever get more seeds from them and they do the same thing, then say fuck em and start a thread about how much they suck donkey dick.

Just my two cents.

P.S. - Yes, I was definitely implying that you fucked up the germination! :eyesmoke:

I think that the seed breeders should throw in one extra seed for each strain that u buy.. so if you buy 1 pineapple express u will really recieve 2 if u order a pack of 5 u will get 6... Just in case something goes wrong.. I just bought a new grill so I can bar b q . (I know, typicall black guy stuff) hey, I guess I just don't give a f if I feed in to the stereotypes lol . But when I assembled it they sent me an extra screw incase something goes wrong.. same theory the breeders should use.. its not like it costs them a lot if money to produce seeds, u pollinate one plant and u have hundreds of seeds. And I know they have a business to run and they can't give away seeds or they wouldn't make money because people will have seeds stockpiled. But I think of it this way.. people have already mastered cloning.. so what keeps the seed breeders in business??? It's not the need of seeds ... It's the need if different varieties of seeds and different strains and flavors.. as long as people smoke , people will always wanna try some new strain , and that's what keeps the breeders in business ! So its not like giving away an extra seed would put them into bankruptcy. If Americans wanted to stop supporting breeders we could , we have enough seeds already in the country to sustain a domestic species of weed. Not to mention cloning.. but I got that off my chest.. I'm ok now. No more outburst about world of seeds for atleast 3 weeks when I think of it again lol

Another random question.. I hear people say some strains will go hermi if u let them flower for too long. They say it has something to do with the plant trying to pollinate themselves so the species can live on... That sounds good & all. But if that's true, how would people be regenerating plants?? They would go hermi.. or is it that u just can't regenerate these strains of cannibis without gettin them seeded ??? once again , this has absolutely nothing to do with my grow, I'm not even thinking of regenerating any plants , just curious

Good point, an extra seed would be a nice way of at least trying to guarantee you get the amount of plants you paid for, but I doubt that will happen.

Damn Berkman!!!! Screw u with all of ur Jewish logic, reasoning and wisdom... I was nice & mad .. and here u come making perfectly good sence! (Joking for those who can't tell) how can I maintain my anger when u make such a valid argument on their behalf.. now I see y everyone wants a Jewish lawyer , banker , doctor , jewler etc... Ur right I really could b limiting myself ... Maybe one of their strains just might b my fav ... But u know what ?? If it ever comes down to a decision between world of seeds and greenhouse seeds or barnys farm or whatever... World of seeds prob won't be the seed chosen by me.. but that's just me...

I am just speaking from experience, I also have issues with holding grudges. It is something that I am battling constantly. Sometimes it's just better to let it go and move on, sometimes it's not....:fire:

Are u implying that I had something to do with the failure of the seed?? Lol maybe, but!!! It was left under the same exact conditions as my cc glp and Ww . And at the same Damn time ! (Actually a refference to a song I keep hearing on the radio, corny joke. I kno) but anyway .. & I think that if something were to b wrong with my method of germination ... The other 3 would have faultered aswell.
Whippin white and selling work!

Sims think about your question about revegging the plant for a second with the hermie question. When you reveg a plant your putting it back into the veg cycle so its not making buds and not thinking about living on its life and finishing flowering it thinks to itself oh shit i have to grow so it grows again cause you change the light cycle its not worrying about putting off buds its wanting to get big and strong. Does that make sense theres a big debate on revegging that if it lowers the potency of the plant and all that with time there will be a correct answer but im sure every strain is different and some reveg easier than others.

Yea.. only 1 problem, I have no magnifying glass.. so how do I check to see if its done without???,just wait till pistols change color?? And are u saying sativas yield more than indicas??? I thought sativas were tall and skinny and indicas short & bushy but I thought the yield would generally be the same .and I know height is a major concern .. but if sativas yield more wouldn't they b preferred by indoor growers since they are way faster to grow and yield more??
sativas yield more generally becuz they take a longer flowering time and its genetics. some true sativas can take up to 14 weeks to flower. but most are average at about 10-12 weeks. do u have a nice camera? if u take pics with a decent camara and hook it up to the computer u can tell the color. and by color i mean the trichomes nt the pistils. i can tell just by looking at it normally but thats just becuz ive been growing a while. u will get the hang of noticing the subtle changes the bud makes once its done. the triches will all be a milky white and some will start turning a nice brown. but u have to look really close and preferably under a white cfl so u can see it clearly. another way of telling after growing a few times is the swell. u will notice the swelling of the buds the last few weeks cuz they will start plumping up pretty regularly. and once done i give a few more days generally.

Random question ... Would the quality of my bud be severely affected is I chose to cure in plastic Tupperware? it is air tight and brand new, I know everyone says to use glass jars , but is this more of a necessity or just a slightly better option ?
glass jars is ur best option. tupperware leaves a wierd smell in the bud when u use it to cure ive found out. glass has no smell. walmart sells a pack of 12 mason jars that fit about an o in them for about 10 bucks. pretty good deal. get the thread on lids too. not the pop ons.

going hermi is caused by bad part of some good genetics sometimes. or by really fucked up stress. and as a plant is getting ready to die why not try to survive right? could be kinda stressfull going passed ur original life cycle.

this is true. but revegging is still stressful and may cause hermies if the genetics arent strong enough. although ive revegged a few things and they came out pretty bomb. id never do it again tho. it takes a long fucking time to revert back to a veg state sometimes so i just take the loss anymore. not worth the effort in my opinion unless ur in a bind and have no other way of getting plants.

That's pretty much what I was thinking ... And ive currently been watching a plant my friend had from last year (inside) regenerating outside in his backyard. It is an extremely slow process as u have stated wheels, and I'm with u on this 1 . It's not worth it.. in the time it takes to regenerate a plant I could easily plant a new seed or grow a clone .

The cotton candy clones are all about 4 feet , the white widow and green love potion clones are about 1 foot , and they are now ready for me to clone. And I will.
