I tried posting on another forum with no luck - I am a long time lurker, finally had to create a throwaway for this DWC grow; with that said all this information has been invaluable in creating this medicine, many thanks to all!
My album
(3rd Picture of CFL lights is the (late start) auto blueberry strain that will be mentioned later)
I am on day 68 (Since doing the shot glass technique) of my first DWC growtent grow. I am using 3.5 gallon buckets with 8 inch hydro (for hydroton) tops. For light I'm primarily using two (2 slot) ballasts with 40w cool range T8 lights. (I would of gone CFL, but wanted to keep wattage/heat down for the time being since it’s in a low ceiling crawl space) For nutes I’m using GH flora Series only at the moment. I plan to flower with a 400w HPS (and if needs be supplemental CFL’s on the side of the grow tent, given the long length) All seeds are fem freebies from Attitude so I don’t plan to clone for this grow. Carbon Filter is being used w/ squirrel fan.
So far LST on all plants and FIM (only for NON autos, of course) are working well and it’s about time to go into bloom stage; only problem is I have an Autoflower blueberry strain catching up to the other plants since one of the seeds I had died a few weeks into flowering. The remaining strains are not autoflower. The new autoflower BB seed is approximately ½ the height of the others and is a month and 2 weeks behind.
Since I have to change out the water tomorrow should I just switch to HPS 12/12 & bloom transitional nutes (2-2-2) or keep the BB auto going with the others for a few more weeks of 18/6 hour growing? (After reading it seems I really over did it with growing out the girls, especially since they have no room / slowed down significantly in the last week. )
Another issues - nute supplements:
Other thoughts/ concerns:

Another issues - nute supplements:
- Would using something like KoolBloom be worth it?
- Anyone else have experience with DWC nute transitions? (Is 1 week of transitional nutes good enough? I can’t seem to find solid info on this transitional period business)
Other thoughts/ concerns:
- LST’ing / SCROG'ing the hell out of 4 plants instead of cramming 6 in this mother tent might be my plan of attack next time, or I may try to control the LST from an earlier start
- Using heavy metal wire to hold down limbs is useless, when LST’ing you have to tie everything down
- I plan to keep a grow journal for the rest of this DWC journey
