Not much to report just pixs

Should start showing sex really soon I would imagine. males show about 14 days and females about 18 so I should now if there female in about a week. growth is going good and getting bigger each day. Not too bad IMO for a first grow

Nice man, i like the way the setup looks... seems like the box will control the plants and its seems easy to raise the lights when needed!!! keep it up, I know you just saw mine, we seems to be around the same time span.. im waiting to see if that tall one of mine is a male.. or just tall since it was bag seed. Sorry if you (which im sure you did ) mention it before but do you have cfls in that light cage or another type of light? Just curious cause i was very interested in that 450 hps from stealth hydro, didnt know if anyone else has experience with it.. (how much it changes the temps and what not..)

I use 8 32w 2700k cfl's and have had great results so far. They are good for the footprint I have for 2 plants. I know it wont yield as much as a HPS but its for personal use anyway. At the rate I go through a stash there will be another one ready by the time I finish smoking it. The heat was a prob when I had the lights lower but since I raised them up it never goes higher then 81 in the box. You will tell the sex at about 2 weeks into flower and the female will show about 4 days later then the male. Male plants to tend to be a little larger and not as bushy as females but this is just speculation really. Just keep an eye out if its a male and you dont plan on making seeds get it out at first sign or it will release its pollen into the area and you will have to clean everything really well to avoid pollinating.

DUDE! PARANOID! looking really good man! and i gotta agree with growthspurt, nice set-up.

man, looking at those last set of pics brings me back to when my girls were at that stage. also love those roots pics.

growthspurt, i used a 250 HID along with 4 CFLs in my stealth grow, approx 3' x 2' area and couldn't have been happier with the results (see my journal in my signature).

as for heat, what i found was that as the plants grew in, the heat decreased. i just harvested and chopped two of my plants and the heat shot straight back up again. i'm guessing it's a combination of:
a) amount of "open space" in the box that needs to be vented
b) amount of light/heat bouncing around the box when there is less vegetation.

keep up the good work paranoid. looking forward to the flowering.

Can anyone tell if these pix indicate sex yet? I think that they are showing female properties. Let me know what ya think.

Ok from this pix im now 100% sure that at least 1 is female. The other has not shown signs yet. At least its the left one wich is the bigger plant with what looks like it will have at least 6 colas

They have really taken off since I did the rez change on wed. They are on half nutes now. next week I will add 3/4 nutes to them and in 2 weeks they will be on a full nute bag. They are ready have a nice smell to them.

for the other plant, take a look at all the nodes and look for the signs of the "whiskers." i'm crossing my fingers here for you that the other is a girl too.

and you're going to be blown away about the stretching of the plants you're about to witness. the plants seriously blow up once flowering is well under way.

no signs yet of whiskers yet but also no signs of nuts either. gonna have to keep a close eye on it just thinking she is a slow developer. They are already stretching like a mofo will have to raise the lights again soon.

No sign yet on the other plant will have to watch it closely. The female is getting well underway buds will there withen the weeks to come. Hope the other one turns out female it would be a shame to pull it. I planted 4 seeds 2 didnt make it from seedlings and 2 mad it. 1 is female the other who knows.

Paranoid nice job so far growing. But I truly feel your pain man. I just found out that out of the two plants I'm growing, one is a male :cuss:

I was very disappointed when I stumbled across those tiny little ball sack looking bulges growing in the nodes where the pistils should be. At least I can take some clones and cross the two strains because both show great genetics. I only have one female plant now, but I'm glad I vegged for 8 weeks. Now I'm in day 3 of flowering and my baby is abut 28 inches tall so I'm really hoping for a big yield after all this hard work that I've been putting in for 8 weeks. I'll post some more pictures soon when some buds form. Good luck and hope to god both your plants are female man!
