So I have been at this for awhile now and I decided as I was expanding I should document this endeavor. So right now I have 2 rooms, 18kw and 16kw. I want to double up the 18kw room so I have 2 flower rooms and a 16kw veg room. I just picked up 3 used 3 ton thermoplus water cooled ac units for a very reasonable price. I also have a 3.5 ton unit already. I had debated and am still unsure as to how I will flip the rooms. It will be way easier if I just buy more ballasts and a few dpdt relays and flip the ballasts. Way cheaper to buy 18 dpdt relays and build a big flip board but I had flip set ups before and they never work properly, bulbs cook, ballast fry... I don't really trust them even though I rocked one for a couple of years. I might still flip the bulbs instead of the ballasts for cost reasons. I will make that call when I have to. So I will have 6 tons of cooling on the lower level and 6.5 tons up top. It doesn't get to hot here so I should be fine. The last few days we have started the second floor structure which is pretty hard considering we have to work around 144 3 foot purple candy ladies. It's been a challenge but so far so good. I am sloping the floor and lining it with 45 mil pond liner. I have raised tables in the room I have right now but I want to try the open floor concept. If it works as well as I hope I am planning on putting a floor in my lower room as well. I have two co2 burners and only one controller so I have to get another one this week as well. I am going to attach a few pics for you all. Appreciate any comments or advice.
