That is the side effect that liberals keep saying never happens.

Wages are forced to go up to an arbitrary number with no concern for actual economic realities and jobs disappear or are much harder to get. And it is insidious because it is hard to show someone a job that was not created.
the us is different in the sense that we do not have a sliding scale wage based upon age..if we did we would be you:wink:

With a $5.81 raise in wages for each employee, I don't see this pie in the sky experiment working.

A business with only four full time employees will have at a minimum, after insurance and payroll burdens, a $55k increase of annual payroll.
You'd have to be a complete moron to think you could pay someone $600 a week to stuff hamburgers and fries in a bag and still make a profit.

we should do as we last did and make it incremental over 3 years..

prices are not set by government mandate.

even if BHO re-writes the constitution with his crayolas, slashing the retail price of goods would only slash the profit margins of retailers, which would result in layoffs.

If the federal government were to mandate a minimum price for weed at $500 per oz, it would be a different story, this forum would light up (pun intended) with mass hysteria.

Why not just print and give out 25% more money? God damn you mean after all of these years of a shit economy the answer is truly that simple?! Based on your advanced theory of economics that should work fantastically. What really needs to happen is prerequisite tests should be handed out to anyone who wants to vote.

if the feds mandated a MAXIMUM price of $50/oz, you would suddenly see leftist cash croppers arguing against government control of the economy, then lefty dope consumers would turn on the cash croppers like rabid hyenas.

"consumers" always want more of what they want for less money, and free shit is even better, while those who actually PRODUCE the shit they want are called names, and treated like parasites.

it's bizzarro-world economics created by populist numbskull politicians and media and dipshit moron "consumers"

My girlfriends neice manages a Mcdonalds and she doesnt come close to 108k a year. more like 30k
if she OWNED the franchise she MIGHT see the returns implied by that document, but it's highly unlikely.

the document posted is BULLSHIT.
the document assumes 2.7 MILLION in annual gross sales, which is far higher volume than most McFranchises will ever see.
consider the "tax and license" costs of 1%. NO business operates with a 1% tax burden.
it assumes 24% of the net sales in payroll, but most food service businesses spend ~40% of their net on payroll expenses, thats the industry average.
a 5.7% net profit after expenses is a ridiculously high projection.

that document is designed to sell franchises.

it is not based in reality.

but he doesnt actually adopt he backbone of Marx's theories, violent proletarian revolution, cuz that shit just isnt selling.

thus Marx's ideology is re-branded in a fancy new package, with Marx's picture no longer in evidence on the label.

it's Crypto-Marxism swaddled in feelgood rhetoric and plastered with more various brand names than a nascar driver's fire suit.

when one label gets discredited, they just peel it off, and point to a different label, pretending they are all so radically distinct from each other, when the truth is, they are all just the same tired old Marxism.
I used to like your arguments as they were at least cogent, but they seem to have devolved into a vague conspiracy of a left-wing Fifth Column.

Do you really think there is a group of powerful and influential Americans actively trying to destroy our country, or is it just more of the "I don't agree with it" type of mentality?
