Could you post a picture of the exhaust fan for me? Also straight forward pictures of all the pieces of the grow box would give me a better sense of what's going on as well?
I just decided to go ahead and mount the fan and filter on the top in the center.

The things I have left to do:

mount the envirolite bulbs.. waiting for one bulb, and boths sockets.

mount two more small desk fans..

then the fun of working out all the kinks.

a little disguise.. i was getting sick of rubbermaid lol.. so heres a reg cardboard box.

temps are at 75 without the envirolites and the two additional desk lamps.. I have a feeling the temp will run high after everything is all said and done.

Hahaha oh man it looks like a fricken spaceship with the lights on. Not making fun it was just a funny picture and caught me by surprise. I hope stealth is not a high priority if so you've got some work man.

Thats a nice fan youve got there and that a fine place for it. Hmmmm yea it will definitely get hotter. For the fun of it, I'm gonna venture a guess at a final running temp of 80-82 degrees with everything installed. Want to start taking bets?

Keep up the good work. Working out the kinks is the most fun part of the entire build process. Just don't let them consume you if you can't figure them out right away

lol the light wont escape like that... the power cords were between the two tubs creating a gap.. im gunna run those wires under and weather strip the "clamshell" opening.

it will look stealth after im finished haha.. its not like my parents haven't seen me working on it. They wonder why dont spend this much time on school work. If only it was this fun lol.

lol fuck, id be happy with 80 degs.. haha

If im still having problems after adding the bulbs and fans I may buy a small portable air conditioner.. but that is down the road, and only if it stays too hot.

i wasnt complaining 5 days ago when no one responded to my thread...

so i dont see your pointt. yea I get aggrivated because alot of experienced growers, who favor "HPS lighting and all the best growing techniques" dont enjoy working with different types of grows like this one, and often read the thread and posts then skip past it. thats all..

as for that question.. there never was one.. so i dont know why you keep pushing that. Once again this thread was to show my design.
why would you want advice from ppl that use a completely diff method then yours. like i use a full room and hps lighting i wouldnt be able to help u cause idk nothin about stealth grows like yours. same way you wouldnt be able to help me wit my way.. but good luck bro hope it all works out for you

An experienced grower of any kind is of more use than other new growers (for most growing related questions).. i dk thats just my opinion.

Im over that now.

Anything you come up with will be as i could do. Just make sure its a durable paint and that it is for plastic. Double coat for sure, triple coat if you haven't passed out from the fumes yet. Short smooth strokes and quick flicks of the wrist at the end of the strokes will give you a very nice smooth "stock" looking coat. Layering paint helps with its smoothness and durability, haha just dont try to empty the whole can in one go:mrgreen:

im getting very impatient with this broken bulb being replaced. It puts my whole grow on hold.. meanwhile its hard to tell your plants that lol.

Know what you mean, I was the same way waiting for my hps.

i hope you got a refund and are getting this new bulb for free meaning you only paid for one and not two. At least a refund on shipping you know, or free expedited shipping. A well written email to the company will usually do wonders in getting you free stuff for broken merchandise, customer loyalty is essential right now in our economy.

You could always just try to find a local hydro shop if there's one around.

Ok guys, here it is so far..

Ive got ten plants in there right now.. six in the bottom row, and four on top.

All plants will be eventually transplanted into the 1 gal grow bags.. they are bigger than I anticipated.

I have a 3pack of fem power kush being shipped and plan on filling them in along the way. 12 plants total!

One question though.. for the most part I am running a 24-0 light cycle... however from about 8:20-9:20 the lights are programmed to be off, is that okay?

My moms blow dryer makes the circuit breaker trip lol.

more pictures.. 2 different diesel ryder plants.. I have a few white skunk aswell.
Wow man your plants look delicious already. They're gonna go nuts in that box of yours.

One hour off is fine. I run my plants at 18/6 just trying to save that bit on electric you know. I think they'll be ok with the switch down from 24 to 23 hours, doubt they'd even notice. I guess i'd just think of it as a slow progression down to the 12/12 cycle. Hmmmm that'd be something to try making a light cycle that slowly steps down to the 12/12 cycle more like the natural rhythm of the sun. Do you think they'd adjust more readily to the flowering cycle? Maybe the plants would flower quicker or perhaps flower larger buds because the plant did not waste the energy switching to the 12/12 cycle. Hmmmm... bongsmilie yep stoner prophesizing moment sorry.
