That pic was from last Monday, but actually it doesn't look much different, there's been a few more hairs turn but not many. I'm really not sure what the flowering time is on this strain, it's the first one that I've grown. I'll post another pic tomorrow, you'll see what I mean, I'm not sure what's up with it.
I like everything about your plant.
Size.
Leaf condition.
Calyx to leaf ratio.
When I topped in last years comp I topped after there were 5 or 6 nodes taking off the top node.
I am definitely going to experiment topping the way you did near the bottom
Some of the contestants in last years comps did it that way with good results also creating four nice branches.
Are you growing the same strain in Dawg's comp?

I agree with you 100% Kashash, Opie1971 did an amazing job with his little lady!! We are lucky to have him and his knowledge with us again this round. I can't wait to see his training techniques in action and am ready and eager to learn how to improve my overall solo cup game!

Edit - I didn't top my plant at all thinking it would hurt my yield having limited roots... Guess i was wrong lol

I'm undecided yet, but leaning heavily towards that way.

Anyone else who has photos from a past 12/12 from seed solo cup grows, please share them with us and show off your growing skills!

Also, start looking for your 16 oz party cups, ensure that they are in fact a 16 oz cup. Most hefty cups are 18 oz so stay away from the hefty!! I have made this mistake, learn from my failure. You can have as many holes in the cup as you want and use any medium. Always good to plan ahead so you can have time to round up your supplies!

Wasn't directly a 12/12 solo competition. Think we vegged 3 or 4 weeks. Ugly thing that I'm surprised made it to harvest. Was 26in. Tall. Deadhead x long bottom leaf. My first solo grow.
That's a long-legged lady, nicely done for your first solo! Thanks for sharing

Edit- whats the big pink bud in the background??

Honestly I don't remember. I think maybe 10 to 13 grams after drying. Contest was on thcfarmer in 2016. Winner had a beast in a solo. Made mine look like tiny Tim bud wise. It wasn't bad actually. Clipped a clone of it and had it a while.
That’s honestly a really respectable amount, I’ll be happy if I just make it to harvest in this comp. yield is not as important to me as trying to keep a super healthy plant for its entire life, and hopefully with a healthy plant I’ll get something from them.
