other than that. I think the rules are pretty clear, not too many limits, and it should be interesting and pretty fun, I'm excited! just gotta decide how I wanna do this!

if I chose to do 4 different methods 1 with each bean, would that be ok? as long as I'm not breaking any of the other rules?

Just follow the rules and have fun! Make sure your cup is 16 oz

Can ya give us an idea of what strains/crosses that we might run across? Any history would be welcome, many thanks.
from what he said that's part if the challenge, we won't have any clue what Strains were running!

but this made me think, will we be told at some point during the grow, or can we not know until the competition is over

Here is Kepsters’ description of Mystery Meat from the Strainly.io

Over the years I’ve watched seeds fall and collect on the floor of my drying room as I’ve attempted to fine tune the strains I’ve been working on. I would gather these seeds and dump them into a tupperware feeling guilty about just tossing them. Many were popped in an attempt to leave no stone unturned but the majority remain intact and looking for a good home.

No, you can do anything that you wish, just as long as your plant is under flowering time.View attachment 4260534Here is a pic of mine that I grew in the cup comp that is just finishing up, it had absolutely no training whatsoever, I cut the top 4 or 5 nodes out right after it started making it's first visible hairs.
I only ask bc Ive made myself a rule after losing one the best tasting plants I've ever had in my life, my rule is always have a clone of everything until you know for sure u don't care to lose it! and after reading up on what we're growing, I don't think anyone knows what we're actually growing! and with that being the case and being told that it's some fire, I Want to take a cut, just in case I come across the next million dollar pheno, or in case I just really like it, and wanna do a real run with it, ya never know, that's the great thing about popping beans! your really never know what your in for! and the back story on these beans is pretty dam intriguing!

That pic was from last Monday, but actually it doesn't look much different, there's been a few more hairs turn but not many. I'm really not sure what the flowering time is on this strain, it's the first one that I've grown. I'll post another pic tomorrow, you'll see what I mean, I'm not sure what's up with it.
