Bell Cheese(see UK slang)
Cheesy Gwar
And I couldn't match or better Cheese on toast, that's just a winner full stop.

Also, that Durban is looking great, I can't wait for mine to start flowering!!
haha that urban dictionary definition is disgusting. Thanks about the durban, but shes sick, its really annoying. Seems to be a repeat of what happened last grow with the AK48 using the same nutes. Not sure if i've been adding too much or too little. Ive been folowing the guidelines but as these are 12/12 FS i should have probably been adding less than recommended. I thought they might be able to take it as they are organics, as you can tell I have no experience in this field lol

ANyone have experience with the humboldt organics range?? Any chance you know why im getting the yellow leaves? I've been following the feeding schedule but I think beause these girls are small, that I may have been adding too much. Are these nutes generally strong? I thought I could be a bit more pushy 'because they were organic' thanks

The yellowing suggests nitrogen deficiency or in laymen they're not getting enough nitrogen. I'd perhaps up the dosage for the Durban just a little, see how she recovers. How many weeks flowering is she? She may just be in her final stages.

Yeah thats what I would have thought, but she stopped vertical growth about 3 weeks ago, and shes only half way through flowering. Same thing happened to my AK48 last grow. I flushed the AK48 and fed with baby bio, and she got green back within 2 weeks from that. I had acidic run-off a week ago but corrected it last watering. So I guess its just me adding too much of the humbolt 'grow natural' feed or something. Must have had a salt build up again, but would be good to know how other people have taken to the humbolt organics

Do you flush every few weeks or so? I've read people do that, especially if they're feeding on a heavy schedule.

No but thats a really good idea I think I'll be doing from now on for this grow. I am soooo close to adding synthetic nutes but I've managed to resist. I'd like those big buds, but think I may have f'ed up this grow to get the big harvest. But still, I may just keep it organic and just take what I get and make do :-O That kabrales is flowering now and she looks really healthy, so she can be my new test subject for the flushing thing :-)

From what I'd read, the flushing once a month or so clears all the build up of salt around the roots, this gives more freedom to absorb nutrients at a better capacity. I personally don't flush on a regular basis, I've not really encountered the salt build up problem that I know of anyway.

I hope this helps.

Yeah I think it will deff help with the organics, as they are pretty gloopey. They can actually make the soil feel kinda sticky. Yeah next grow I will use COMPLETELY unfertilized soil. Coz at the moment i've been using biobizz lightmix which I have been just guessing will last about 4 weeks, at which point I start adding the grow-natural. So i've never really known if that is truly all used up before I add the liquid feed. Man I wish I had all day to just grow and master this shiz. I woould be so much more advanced than I am now. Unfortunately Im gonna have to give it all up after this summer, but I will most prob grow my own plant in a 1-pot DWC or something, if I can persuade my other half. I dunno why I chose a girlfriend who don't smoke weed, such a missed opportunity for her lol and such a stress for me. I think I had best intentions when I met her of quitting smoking weed, but time has taught that Mary Jane is a dear companion of mine

I just used a mixture of apple cider vinegar and lemon juice to bring my pH down to 6.5........I have no idea if that is bad. I also decided to use 50% dutch pro bloom and 50% humbolt organic bloom liquid feeds. Had signs of potassium and phosphorus deficiency creep in since my flush, so I need some immediate results. I also snuck in 1.5ml/gal of pk 13/14. lol. I had a weak moment.......but seriously I just wanna get them to the end in one piece, things seem to be going from bad to worse.

Will post up pics tomorrow! nothing special but pics are fun right :leaf:

UPDATE

CRITICAL.jpgCRITICAL1.jpgCRITICAL2.jpg- Critical: Taken her sweet time to finish. But the smell is developing and is like guava/passionfruit soda, lots of trichs too. This plant stayed VERY short compared to any other 12/12 I've done so I could recommend it for people with space limitation. The company do say it stays short and it really does lol
DURBAN.jpgDURBAN2.jpgDURBAN3.jpgDurban Poison: I think she will prob be finished in 2 weeks or so. Nice amount of trichs. Smell is like lemon scented bleach. Her N deficiency seems to have stalled, so good news por moi
KABRALES.jpgKABRALES1.jpgKABRALES3.jpgKabrales: took a while to get into flowering gear, but she is packing on trichs at an alarming rate, Its noticeable by the day. Smell is just kinda musky....the breeders say she will smell like "various nuts and spices" lol so I dunno why they call it cheese. Should be "bombay mix". At the moment though, It just smells like a hashy smell but I think I can recognize the spicy element to it already
PAKISTAN RYDER.jpgPR and SCS.jpgPakistan Ryder: Because these were for seed breeding, I put her on 12/12, so I don't know if she was autoflowering. All I know is she has taken her time in gearing to full flower, but I think shes gonna start putting some weight on now. Shes been flowering for a few weeks now but THC is only just starting to show over the leaves nearest the buds. Smells fresh, light and skunky but that ain't a bad thing (the SCS is also in the pic on the right)
SUPERSONIC C STORM.jpgSUPERSONIC C STORM1.jpgSupersonic crystal storm: Definitely got the autoflower genetics in her! I still have no idea whether the autoxtreme female pollen actually worked on her. Smells really intense like vanilla/wood/fruit and covered in trichs. Should cure up lovely. Will be a very low yeilder but im not too fussed, the main thing will be seeds so I just hope she provides

So yeah my feeding regime has changed quite a bit. Because of the problems I had with nute lock-out due to overfeeding the organic liquid feeds, I had to flush and so I needed to give some readily available nutes. SO im now feeding:
Veg feed: ~50% humbolt organic grow natural (2ml/gal i.e. 2/5 strength) + ~50% baby bio organic high nitrogen feed (1 cap/gal i.e. 1/3 strength)
Bloom feed: ~50% huboldt BLOOM natural (2.5ml/gal i.e. 1/2 strength) + and ~30% dutch pro A+B autoflower nutes (3ml/gal i.e. 1/3 strength) + ~20% PK13/14 (1ml/gal i.e. very weak)

For pH adjusting i'm still using lemon juice (and recently...apple cider vinegar...) to lower, and humbolt structural integrity to raise pH

I think I could have obviously done better with my grow but its still learning. I think next time I will use the coco choir medium in smart pots, and I will try the Humboldt organics again in this new medium :leaf:

I really like the look of the Durban, it makes me excited to have one at 2 weeks old already. The SSCS looks almost like an heirloom sativa, hardly any density at all, just upwards growth lol.

You absolutely have to tell me how the Durban smokes!

Yeah It sure looks like one, but its a Black Domina crossed with lowryder, and Samsara seeds say that this auto retains the Domina high (which is 90% indica). They also noted that it should smell woody, and I definitely do smell a rich woodiness on a leaf pinch test. So it might just be skinny looking because of this unique environment? check this link:

http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Supersonic_Cristal_Storm/Samsara_Seeds/gallery/16101294506473692/

this is on seedfinder. These pics are why I bought this strain, plus the good reviews. Mine is gonna be ALOT less yeild than the one in the pic there, because 1) that other one was done under 600w, probably hps too. 2) Seems to have got much more light penetration to the lower branches (my one has tried to grow out the lower branches but is stunted, prob due to light penetration) 3) If my one HAS been pollinated, it could be putting energy into seed development.....so could be a promising sign Ill harvest some beans....4) forgot to add, that she is sharing a pot too, so that will have limited growth too

I will do a smoke report on the Durban :-D Smells so strong, almost off-putting lol sharp like bleach but intense lemon

I hope you get some decent seeds. Durban smells like lemon? I always thought it had a licorice smell?

Yeah I'm hoping she will be become more licorice at harvest/curing. A few weeks ago she smelt like juicy fruits chewing gum, so she might change flavour again before harvest time :leaf:

Kabrales

She was the last to start flowering (I think about 2.5-3 weeks ago). She has stayed the healthiest. She has now grown the biggest. Although she does has the prime spot in the grow room. Fan leaf THC smells like hash, with hints of fruit, like sultanas or dates and maybe a hint of mango, and there is a light spiciness in there too. Its hard to describe really but its a familiar kind of complex hash smell at the moment. Looking forward to how the smell will develop coz they always do! I have a feeling this plant is gonna be the best smoke of the lot.

@ hsfkush

You will be pleased to know the durban flavour is becoming more complex. Yeh it smells more deep and musky now, the bleach part is gone, and the intense lemon is dumming down slightly. I suppose you could say there were hints of anise mixed in there :leaf: :-D yesss! I think another week max for her

Good stuff man, I'm excited for you.

I've only smoked Durban Poison once and it was one of the hardest hitting strains I've smoked. But it was enough to persuade me to go with Dutch Passion, something I said I'd never do lol.

I've only smoked it once too, it was way back, was still fookin damp in the baggy (hard times) and obviously didn't toke properly coz it was not dried or cured, and well, we were all just achin for a smoke so we didn't wait. Anyway, I decided i'd do it myself some day and here I am lol. The only reason I chose Dutch Passion was from a magazine review from some people who grew out about 8 of each Durban from Dutch Passion and Sensi seeds. They found all the Dutch passion to be similar phenos but the SS version had about 4 differnt phenos, some of which were mostly indica
