Hey man...another interesting and thorough grow thread! Your ULH looked wicked too... Can I ask how much lime and root nutrient you added to your Biobizz soil? I am using Biobizz too, and the plants succumb to a bit of mag deficiency which I worked out stemmed from the soil. It looks like you got it really sussed!

I think its something like 4 tablespoons of garden lime per gallon or something and I work it into the soil in a big tub. I normally have to recheck on google (which takes me back to a thread on rollitup) coz I alsways forget. But then I always add slightly less what other people use. My runoff pH is literally about 7. So its not ideal, but it works well enough for me, I'll perfect it one day tho. Nice avatar lol aint that 'salad fingers' or something :-/ Proper messed up cartoon, I saw one where he takes a dead body out the ground to be his friend n has a tea party n shit LOL

Nice - I'll be adding it to the soil for my next grow definitely. Yeah pH has been a bit of a bother for me also, so I'm starting to wonder if I should change soil instead. Don't know...

Gotta love Salad Fingers....and Burntfaceman!

are u using the lighmix or the allmix? I think the allmix might need the 4 tablespoons per gallon measure, but I probably need to go slightly less with the lightmix, I think nextime i'll use 3 tablespoons per gallon, or 2.5, n see if I can get the pH to 6.4.......but its not really something at the top of my list, they seem to be growing ok. Good luck :leaf:

Heres a game: Match these pics to the descriptions above!!

The autos have EXPLODED its a mess, but nah they have grown bout 4-5" in the last couple days. Stretchiest of all my plants so far lol any they meant to b autos :-/ ah well, Ill just have to lop them.

2013-04-22 16.54.54.jpg2013-04-22 16.55.07.jpg2013-04-22 16.55.26.jpg2013-04-22 16.55.40.jpg2013-04-22 16.56.04.jpg2013-04-22 16.56.23.jpg

Seem to be gettin the hang of those humbolt nutes. Basically, the simpler you apply them the better it seems to work lol I aaint been bubbling them or anything, just been feeding about 1.2ml/ Litre of the grow natural and bloom natural for the last week n a half. With a watering between each feeding. With the watering I add 1 tablespoon of ES honey molasses per ~9 L of water, and have been adding 1 teaspoon of myco madness per gallon in both waterings and feedings. Simples. *touch wood* (I didn't touch wood) :leaf:

plants are coming along nicely..
But there's something I don't understand about this hobby. Why does (cheese x cheese) = 'Kabrales' ? Wouldn't cheese x cheese = cheese?
Or are they two different kinds of cheese?

lol cheese² would have been a batter name than kabrales. Although I think its a cheese clone back crossed to an exodus cheese clone. But that's as far as seedfinder.eu is concerned. On Blimburns website they just state its cheese x cheese. It was developed in Spain, hence the name kabrales, which apparently is a really stinky Spanish cheese

u might wanna patent that name hahaha like chi squared, I think you got a winner :leaf:
Thanks man. If there's one thing I can do, it's puns. Tons of puns.......and rhymes.

"Square Cheese" also comes to mind.

Cross it with another cheese variant and it'll be a Cheese Cube. Cheese² × _ Cheese × _ Cheese we can call it Four-Cheese Weedza® :-D

Remember folks, you heard it here first.

the durban smells great, very intense and weird though. Almost like a mix between citrus and fruit flavour bubblegums. Critical smells a bit hazey, kinda musky and herbal. The kabrales aint got a smell yet its only just getting into flowering mode with shorter node spacing with groups of pistils. The autos are looking ok, I think about 50% of the calyxes on the supersonic crystal storm have been pollinated due to their brown/red appearance, the thc on it also smells great like a deep hashy fruit smell, but only about 20% of the pakistan ryder look as though they have been pollinated, and thc formation has not begun on her yet. The rest of the autoxtremem i have in the cup is looking a bit sorry for itself today, I think I will have one more female pollen collection and then it will die. The thc on the xtreme (what was able to form during its horrible ordeal) smells great, it does smell like a citrus/eucalyptus girl, very fresh smelling. So im looking forward to growing these crosses out in summer :-)

well thanks to some wanky civil electricians the other day, I had a 2 hour power cut in the middle of the light cycle. I moved my galz to the window but fucked up when rearranging my timer, so today they had about half hour extra light in the morning and this evening the lights went out an hour early (fook knows how I managed that) but anyway, I am ready and waiting for male flowers to pop up within then next 2 weeks. Could have been a cheaper alternative to buying an Oz of colloidal silver to treat my autos, but hey. These builders have no fuckin consideration for people growin weed. They are lucky my chips were over 60% cooked by the time the oven just switched off or I would have been reaaaaally pissed. wankers.

Seems the durban has an N deficiency. I checked run-off and it was acidic :-/ So I dunno what happened there as I always pH test my feed and waterings. I guess she hasn't been eating it as fast as i've been applying it so prob got a nute build-up. Hard to actually know whats causing these things. But I think the best I can do it flush the soil with neutral water and start again? Might add some of the baby bio, seems to have faster results than the humbolt feed. Baby bio "contains organic material" so I don't think its cheating.....will flush in a couple days and post pics. Kinda annoying coz the durban buds have stayed quite small so I guess the pH may have been off for a while. I should deff make an effort to pH test run-off every time too.

I watered with spring water at 6.4 pH today, and ran through until the runoff from each pot was at about 6.3 or so. SO If the N def doesnt clear up then I guess it really was just a case of not enough :-/ hard to beleive with the durban as she hasnt grown any new green growth for a while, so I really have no idea. If she doesnt improve by next feed then i'll use that baby bio. I wish there was an easier way to understand the cause of deficiencies. Next grow I think im gonna use super soil and just water it.

AX 2.jpg< last of xtreme female pollen...I spread the last over today, just got my fingers crossed now
