Advertised lumens means dick. They are measured in the middle spectrum were a bulb puts out the most energy. Mostly what the human eye sees. Yet has nothing much to do with a plants photo response which is mostly to the left and right areas of the spectrum. PAR rating are how you want to rate bulbs and Hortilux is still King of the Hill.....
Be sure to have them at least 3 ft apart. If they are closer they can magnetically interfer with one another causing loss of spectrum or 'magnetic wash'. Thats why I never understood the 'Growzilla' hoods. Just goes to show Hydrofarm has their heads up their asses..........
Where did you find this information? I've been searching everywhere I can think of online and am seeing nothing about magnetic interference in the bulbs. Are you sure you weren't thinking of improperly shielded electronic ballasts causing interference? Please enlighten me. I'm about to start a duel bulb operation inside of a magnum xxxl hood, and want to be sure I'm not screwing myself over. Thanks!
