haha sorry man I gotta lay off the dabs:joint::weed:

I just bought PPM meter and a pH meter off of ebay for about 10 bucks each and free shipping too! way easier than the drop kit lol but I still have it just incase ;)
Its all good bro don't quit the dabs that's just what comes with being a heavy smoker lol cus it happens to all of us :) but yea Amazon and EBay are the best places to find stuff you really need for cheap. After I get finished with this girl there's a few things imma get from Amazon. It's always good to have back ups for everything just in case. INSURANCE lol

I found some good ideas to get rid of them. I'm assuming its my "self watering" pot I'm using. Or I've somehow overwatered....I don't know. I'm thinking about completely changing the soil but Ik afraid of shocking the plant or something. I don't want her to end up with root rot, I thought the self watering pot would help with an over watering issue. From what I've read they won't hurt the plant but still, bugs suck when it's my first one lol

Ok bro glad you found something that could help. Do you have an autopot? I don't think a self watering pit should cause that but maybe you never know. If you change the soil she will have ails transplant shock but nothing she can't survive. These are some of the strongest plants in the world. You really have to fuck up bad to kill these off as I've done experiments and they find a way to survive :). Hopefully you get that taken care of so you can keep rolling right along.

My pot has a little thing close to the bottom that I can pour the water in. I'm assuming the organic dirt I used had eggs in it. I'm really torn on the transplant cause she looks fucking amazing to me. The Grow and Catalyst have to be doing some work, I'll take an update pic in a few minutes. I never would have expected to be as...proud? Or happy to have gotten this far on my first. I'm only in veg but this shit is completing me lol

She's looking really good Herb. Very dark and green like she's supposed to be. What did you do to get rid of the gnats

I havnt done anything yet...working a bunch and trying not to stress about it too much. I won't have money til Friday to get some nice new dirt so...I'm stuck at the moment. Might try a homemade method when I get home. I love how dark the leaves are, especially the big guys that are the feeder leaves I'm assuming? There's so many little guys popping up underneath...I want to tie off and manipulate the leaves a bit but I dont want to get too crazy and make a mistake. I feel like so far it's been pretty damn good.

UPDATE DAY 26 Veg

She is doing ok but the XL treatment or the pH swings is really affecting her. I don't know yet what it is but I'm gonna find out soon. I'm pretty sure its the pH swing and I believe its the Silica that's causing it. It looks like she's got some nute burn but also another issue. Im not stressing too hard but I wanna find out what the problem is before it gets outta hand. She's not dying so that's a good thing. Here she is two days after XL treatment

looks like you could have some possible lockout due to pH swings. no worries though you are a very very attentive grower :) and I have no doubt in my mind you will get it fixed quickly cheers bro

Yep agree with patchkid, looks like a slight lockout due to pH swings. Cut out all but a 1/4 of the silica and it should pick up. That damn stuff fucks with pH bad!

I figured that what it was just wanted to make sure but yea I think I may cut it out all together and just up the Dr Repair more what you hunk bout that

Definitely cut down the silica and i'd keep the dr repair to no more than 1.5mL/L. I know Flowa gets his up to 2mL but i think he borders on toxicity levels. Even my current grow is bordering on toxicity and thats at 1mL/L. Ive been foliar feeding with it as well though lol.

Yea I def will cut down to 1/4 strength on Silica and yea I figured I wouldn't go no more than that since I'm cutting back on Silica. One thing I can say for sure is this girl is very strong. She's a heavy feeder too cus last week she got full strength and it didn't even faze her. But I may have to try a foliar feed with it see how that works I'll try to ride this week out if it's really bad by tomorrow then I'll give her and early flush and fresh nutes.

subbed to see results.

You're doing it real nice brother, but lay off the nutage for a little longer. I honestly don't even go half strength until it's a well established plant, that may be part of your issue, it looks like its been on the line to get stunted. Nice evading your leasing office man! That's the scary shit all us traveling growers have to face!!

glad your here for the ride bro much appreciated. Thx bro I'm trying it's my 1st go at hydro so I'm tryna get everything dialed in. Was really good up until this week when I started the XL treatment but what do you supposed I use as to feed her cus she's a few days over a month old and I always give my plants full strength by then when I was growing in soil. She's been in full strength last week and was just fine. I know I stunted her growth a lil but cus I didn't have proper fresh air coming in the closet but I've taken care of that. And yea the leasing office deal was crazy I wish I could move to a legal state but my Mrs doesn't want to :( lol it's all good tho shouldn't see them at my crib anymore :)

Just a couple quick questions. Upon more research I realized my Bruce banner is in fact a hybrid leaning ever so slightly into mostly sativa, which must be why she's getting a bush lol. I have the lights focused pretty close still, should I back em off a bit and let her stretch or keep am close hoping she stays bushy? My closet is only 4-5ft tall so short is nice.

Hmmm it's hard to tell the size from my end, but normally I would give the plant a month after it's fully rooted and growing before hitting it with the highest strength- I would suggest trying a little less (maybe 3/4) than the manufacturers recommended dosage per gallon as most nute lines are prescribed way too hot. As of right now the plant itself looks great but maybe just growing a little slow. I would say just try 50% strength and ease up lil by lil once it takes off. There's just that point in hydro where you sit back and say holy shit, it's time to feed this animal!! It looks like you may have went there a little early but don't sweat it man the girl looks hearty and was fimmed really nice. I bet you see some staggering growth in no time. By the time it's 8"-1' in diameter and a nice herby green then go and unleash. I would look into the glazing affect you had before because that may tell you how to solve any issue at hand. Best of luck!

Thx bro for your hell and opinion I really appreciate all the help cus I'm learning everyday with this system but I feel you by waiting that long for full strength but back when I gave her 1/3 strength she was still hungry. I waited till the next week to give her full strength and she was fine but it's this week when I gave her the XL treatment things went ugly :( I thought I knew what the problem was and I was right with the pH swings. I do think full strength maybe a lil too much but she's there and been there so she will just ride it out. I'm not really tripping too hard cus she's still growing but the Silica is causing the pH to swing almost a full point so it will be cut back but really appreciate the help tho bro

You are correct bro that she is sativa leaning but you need those lights that your using as close as possible always without touching. If you have height restrictions you need to maybe top or fim or just train her to grow horizontally if you don't want to cut her but I'm going to be doing both once she really gets there cus I already fimmed her. She's looking very good so keep it up but once she gets right I would top for four top at 2nd node and spread those tops out and grow an even canopy. All your preference bro but keep those light close. You don't want her to get spindly trying to reach for the light.
