UPDATE DAY 20 Veg

Im trying to stay on top of this with me working like a mad man. It's hard but I need to cus I've never done a real journal for any of my grows so I want to complete this. This are looking very good the fim has got her growing branches like crazy and she responded very well to the full strength feed no nute burn :). I can def say this PE is majority indica cus it is a very tight squat woman nodes a very close together. I know once I flush her and she gets XL she will have some major branching I can work with to lst. I think I may wanna do a scrog but if I don't ill jus train her spread her open ;) so light can get through and create some more colas. Either way it's gonna be nice and I can't complain at all for how things are going with the new system and never growing hydro before. I'm hooked don't think I'll be going back to soil unless it's outside :). Here's some new pix of her this morning

Hey man...thought I would come over and sub after talking to you on that other thread.

Here are a couple of plants that I topped for 4 tops and LST'd / super-cropped.

This is the freebie Bubba Kush (Humboldt) from an Attitude promotion. I topped her and LST'd her in a cup first. Once the four main branches were developed enough, I topped the top of all four of those as well (before she went to asymmetrical nodes due to sexual maturity) so there are really a total of eight tops now. I am just going to let her go now for about 4 more weeks and then I am going to flower her - I'll take a couple clones probably as well:

IMG_6562.jpgIMG_6578.jpg

Here she is now - she has some long, white fishbone roots hanging in the bucket now so I expect her to really start growing soon

IMG_6627.jpgIMG_6626.jpg

And here is my Reserva Privada Sour Diesel. I grew her from seed as well and topped her for four tops and then heavily LST'd her just because she branched out so beautifully. I haven't counted, but she probably has 12 extremely thick branches growing vertically from the four main branches now. She will go into flower in like 15 days. I have two great clones of her already. One's in a water farm bucket and the other I will grow in coco just cuz :)

While in the cup topped her and tied down the four branches so that they were basically horizontal and let them grow for a while. I transplanted her into a 1 gallon pot and kept her branches horizontal and topped and spread the growing tips out. She has a trunk on her :hump: so I can't wait to see how she flowers out. I started all my plants on Orca about 3 weeks ago and then added Dutch Master Gold Zone to the regimen about a week ago. I have seen result beyond my expectations in the hydro so far, and the two clones that were rooted in cubes soaked in a weak solution of the same and then treated after being transplanted into cups with each watering/feeding. When I pulled out one to transplant into a bucket, it had roots like I have never been able to coax out of them using my previous methods.

IMG_6722.jpg

Made sure I kept moving the string/wire further out on the branches gradually to increase the spread and make room for light to hit the lower branches.

IMG_6553.jpg

Now she is in a 5-gal felt pot. She's turning out to be a beast.

Can't wait to see what you get out of your setup. Should be huge!

Peace.

Wassup duudical glad you could stop by for ride. Your skills are awesome man got girls looks very good and healthy and you def know how to create a canopy. A lot of people think you need a scrog screen to create a canopy like that but it just takes patience and keep training them. Will be doing the same on mines once her arms start growing out and yes I can't wait to see either this is a new setup for I I've never ran hydro before so this is all new to me but it's running really smoothly I can't complain at all but I think she's gonna be a beast :)

Why go one plant. You can more with less time. The novelty?
Good question bro. I can tell you this I don't live in a medical state or a legal one so you already know the more plants you have IF you get busted=more time. I know what I do so the time ain't nothin but if I can keep the number don by all means I will. Second I've done grows with more than one plant and different strains and it's hard for me to get everything dialed in when you don't have the time to watch over them like you should. Me being a family man and working I don't have time to look over a lot of plants anymore. Third with the new hydro system I'm running now I would need a huge res and with this one plant it's a lot of work to flush and clean the system so more plants and bigger res means a lot more work which I can't do cus of time. I could get what I'm going to get off this girl with a lot more plants but I'm on a different style of growing now and this better suits me. I'd rather grow one beast and get a pound or more off one then to be running many different strains and trying to achieve the same. You will see after I'm done with her why I'm doing what I'm doing. Hop along for the ride bro :) Peace

can't wait to see how those new tops grow out
Yea me too Patch. I usually don't fim I have before and it's usually not my thing but since this girl is so indica dom and her nodes being so tight and squat I tried the fim to see if it would help her stretch a lil but she's still compact and tight so I guess that backfired lol but it's all good. I can't complain she's doing wonderful and loving this new system. She already has four branches coming out the top and will prolly have more. Gonna have to do a lot of training but that's not a big deal for me. The only thing I hate about growing from seed is how long it takes for some to get past the seedling stage. She's passed it already with this being 3 week of veg but you can really say it been only one week fareal. That's why I said maybe six weeks of veg time but iono never grown her before so I'm just rolling with the punches and I'll know once she gets to the height I want her when to flip her.

Oh I def need to hit the hydro store this weekend. I need two fans one for my light and one for intake and a fan to blow on her to create some wind. I think this may be the problem of why she's not growing as fast as I thought she would cus there's really no fresh air coming in the closet except through the cracks and when I open the door. I'm sure once I get the fresh air coming in and the XL she will take right off.

xD A lot of my family has them now. Everyone disses Windows Phone because it isn't Android or Apple and because the marketplace for apps isn't as good (although it's much better now and continues to grow). They forget that Microsoft has been cranking out new models left and right and the fairly recent ones are quite badass :P and I also liked the very first one too, the HTC Trophy. It was very reliable and good on battery. Had a glitch or two, but what freaking Android or iPhone doesn't? I will admit that the Lumia 928 has some annoying glitches, but they just released an update for it that so far has fixed most of them. I've had Apple and Android phones before, and nothing else has ever taken better pictures and video than my Windows Phones. Lastly, I'd like to add that most of you are probably running a Windows OS right now. It's convenient compatibility ;) but no, I respect your opinions haha just figured I'd take the time and share my experience with them because posting about this feels like a break from all the grow posts. I will, however, say that I prefer Android over iPhone ANY DAY.

Here's a picture I took at a friends house. The picture is 100% unedited excluding the intensity and contrast being altered slightly, I'll post the original too. (we used colored CFLs)
P.S. I don't want this to come across as raging and me trying desperately to prove a point. I'm just bored and wanting to share :)
