Has anyone tried these lights for a complete grow? My understanding they will grow plants and they are very, very cheap.

Ebay, type in 100 watt LED flood l;ights. 10x for 176.00 bucks. Come in Warm white(3000K) and cool white(5000K). I couldn't find warm white for 10 for 176.00.

One of my friends is using one of the new out door streetlights,that he got from one of the workers indoors,and so far its kicking ass its really good,the new street led's that are been used in the uk at the minute,there about 2 inch thick x 12/14 inch long 8 inch wide,i want one there great.

I thought they could grow plants. If you wanted, could you change the chips out and put better ones in than buying all new hardware or DIY kits? I am pretty new to this LED thing.

Get a Mars hydro 300,I have got one and for the money they are brilliant ,check out my past 3 journals i have done with it.
The light is not going to give you the results that a hps light will,but you dont have heat issues,and its pretty easy to pull at least 4/5 oz from the one light with one plant,Think it cost me around 45 pound

I dont know about that so don't comment on things i have never used my self ,but hps is still the main light in my grows,the tent was at first a test grow,But once it started to produce really nice bud i just continued using it,and for what it cost to run per grow its rude not too.

Why would you drop almost 200 on a piece of fuck ? When u can get an actual led grow light made for. Growing . I don't understand your thinking. I dropped 229 on a meizha 1200 and it's doing the same as a hps. So spend 190 some thing on a spot light ????????

I use little led bulbs in veg, that pull 15 watts. They cost $10 at walmart. I'm slowly replacing cfls with these powerful little guys. The plants love it, and grow fatter. Some of these floodlights for $30 are a steal. I'm going to try one of them. Why not try it? If you can't afford cobs but want led, grab some.

I would say at the very least, if you choose to buy something light-wise, try a single emitter driven hard for a single plant, such as Tasty's T1-V196. It will give you the PPFD of a 600wHPS using 92w (85w of COB, the rest is for the fan and technical shit.) in an 18x18. You'll probably be impressed enough to buy more COB fixtures. Check this out, this is what I got, using only 241w of COB (270w including fans and such).
