OK, I'm getting real tired of the water dance.... Every day draw more tap water to let it sit out to evaporate out the chlorine...PPM at 190 fresh out of the faucet....

After running it through the MR.CLEAN AUTO DRY CAR WASH.....PPM 22...HA !!!

How else can it have spot free drying...IT FILTERS IT....

OK its not real Reverse Osmosis but close enough for me.....

You have to replace the " starter filter " doesn't last long ...but after that you're good to go .....

I might even wash the car.................................

I got mine on EBAY...for 10.00 plus shipping......

HAPPY GROWING!!!

Open minded is one thing. Lack of general knowlege and product awareness is another. Dude that is just a miniature DI filter cartridge. It is only good for about 8 gallons of water starting out at 250 ppm/TDS. that would be quite expensive water Dude. They make the same small filters for water faucets that screwright on to the faucet and you need not buy the other crap to use it. Simply look at brita faucet filters or generic copies. Duh!

OK it's been a couple weeks and honest results...base @ 190 ppm

Actual findings : Starter filter produced 12 gallons at .04 ppm, 1 gallon @ 22 ppm
replacement filter over 4 times as much....

I GOT 54 gallons @ .04 ppm = $.18 per gallon

Not the best...Not the cheapest....not for everyone, works for me........

Portable and very convenient for my needs...and yea it does a great job washing the
rides..............................

Thats pretty harsh I dont see nasty replies like that too often on the RIU forums. And Mr. Natural the RIU Forums are for sharing Ideas and trying new things. Not a place for arguing or trying to put people in their place. I didn't really see anything wrong with fatty's response he was only trying to help. And dont try and call me out just because u post a bunch doesn't mean u have been around the forums for as long as I have.

Maybe it was a little...perhaps you should read a few of his post's before you defend anybody...I was looking forward to a spirited discussion with him , his response was harrilious...before they removed it , so I just cooled it.....Youre post is promoting the arguing not mine....

Just a fyi britta filters add back to the water after filtering. I checked the one I have ppm's dropped from 243 to 238. Then looked at the box. Says it adds minrals back to the water. Did not say what all it added.

Any ways I buy my water at lowes or I just let it sit out. I am going to save up for a reverse Osmosis because that seems to be the most cost effective. I have used a brita water filert before but never checked the PPM's. I am a soil grower looking to ge into Hydro though so water doesn't have to be so pure on my side.

LOL I dont know why I quoted myself must be pretty baked.
