1 lb per plant

"Is a pound per plant possible in a hydro setup?" Asked to me by my noob friend. My answer is yes... with a massive DWC setup and at least 4 months vegging, with extensive topping and tying down to induce side growth ( can't remember what this method is referred to as ) In a nutshell it would take a long, long time, more of an experiment than an efficient grow. Any thoughts or experience on this guys?

Its been done with much less veg time than that .. I get 1 pound plants with Coco and a 8 week veg .. DWC setup and I would shave some time again ..

I see. But in a room 25 x 20ft where you have 10 x 1000 watt lights how many plants do you think should be under each light? To get this lb/plant that we speak of.

I got a pound/1000 watt on my first grow ever in 5 gal hp promix with 8 plants per light and I was shit happy!! lol

i had 3 1000 watt lamps on top of 6 plants in 8 gallon undercurrent buckets. towards the end of harvest the root mass took up the entire bucket space and was starting to clog the piping between the buckets.

Woohaaa that's a badass setup. I bet those root bundles were insane! Yes, thank you for confirming. I was thinking 2 plants per light. 2 pounds per 1000 would be a nice harvest.

yea, dried weight was something like .92/watt -- which is one of my best harvests. I usually do about .8/watt or so. now that i switched back to soil, im hoping for .75/watt this time around.

and im far from a "good" grower, there are much better growers here who are more tuned in who can attest to these 1lb yields you are looking for.

wow 1lb per plant that would be insane but i think imo it depends on the strain but sure would love to get a 1lb off of the afghani poison that homeless has its great imo

my friend claims 2lbs off of one plant...

definitely not vegged for 4 months either lol

1lb/plant would be my minimum goal if I did 1 plant/light(w/ 600w)

PS he uses soil. Certainly don't need to do hydro

i'll have to find the link in a few, but my buddy on here got over a pound, single plant, under a 250 watt hid and a couple of cfls for side lighting, dwc.. i don't think he gave it a super long veg. period either..
brb, will look for link..

1 pound plants can be produced off 1000 watts. ak47 or northen lights or skunk easily . veg them 7 feet tall under mh lighting about 3 or so months and the plant is inside a tomato cage and tie down methods 25 gallon soil pots. expected 12 to 18 zips off 1 plant per light . this is very common . with my friends. I like 1 foot to 3 foot veg super high plant number , works best for me.
