I would say heat stress even though I can't say I care to much for mg soil's but foil causes hot spots with the extra added heat from the light covers to wow!! do u have something to read temps

And yes ffof is good stuff ffhf as well but I would recomend ready group coco mix from botanicare provides great root growth

Edit:my avatar is in coco ffof mix 2:1 @ month and a half veg tight leaf formation

If you have any hydroponic stores in your area, I would highly recommend Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil as would almost any other grower in these forums.. You see FFOF all over the place here and the shit kicks ass to say the very least, about 15 bucks for a 10 gallon bag and I promise you will have some nice healthy looking plants without having to feed for about 2 months. I don't feed my plants shit until I start seeing deficiencies which is about 2 months in almost every time for me.. Over winter I put my plants in a small grow box I built under a 50 watt LED panel overnight and every morning right into the natural sun to give em an extra boost, sun has the broadest spectrum you can get so it will never hurt.. Also if you are interested, toss the plant you have because its obviously not doing much and start out a couple more seeds in a party cup, its the perfect size for seedlings and easy to transplant from because you can lightly squeeze the walls of the cup so the root ball will come out easily, then you simply plop that root ball into its final home. Just my two cents brutha, happy growing
Thanks I have good news!!!! Ive found a local hydro store selling that FFOF! Going to get it today and transplant!

I'm using Ocean Forest too now. Did last run with MG organic as it was free but it was the old style before all the bark.
That sounds right.
Keep the plant. It's better to learn about your cultivation weaknesses by finding problems and fixing them. Plus it's more satisfying to watch the plant suddenly take off. My 2c.
Unfortunately guys, I have no seeds. I will have to transplant this baby into FFOF and go from there. Thanks for your helps!!!!!!!

Yea @dopedeiii you think if I plant this into coco coir and perlite would be better or just into ffof? I have access to all that good stuff (local hyrdo store found)

Ive heard coco is much harder to grow in because it dries out sooo easily and the pH is hard to maintain, no personal experience but that's what I've read..

I think if you have no or limited experience growing you should stick with soil/organic based mediums for a couple grows. JMHO

Yeah I decided to buy some FFOF soil. Is it okay to use it without Perlite? Since Im transplanting from MG Organic, will I have to wait until that soil is dry to transplant?

There's only one reason this plant looks like it does: Bad genetics. It's a runt. Plain and simple. Almost every single hybrid plant species out there, be it cannabis, corn, pumpkins etc, all have their runt phenotypes.

WhenI get those, I pull 'em like a useless weed.

What how do u know if it isnt the soil!? It could be a loss if you dont take care of it like me. I mean im transplanting this into FFOF soil and gonna give it a good week to see if it changes and then i decide on where to go from there!

FFOF has perlite but I add more..I like a loose soil myself. Start another and play with the runt. Its just learning experience.

Nah, even if you stuck a normal plant in a dark closet, it would be growing faster than this. Considering the plant looks healthy otherwise, no spotting, dying/drooping leaves you are left with only a few possible conclusions. Encountering a runt phenotype is not uncommon.

For fuck sake, the plant should be showing sex at 1.5 months.

I use my ffof straight from the bag without added perlite, there is a shit ton of it in there already. The only thing I encounter a lot is the water literally running straight down past all the dirt draining out the bottom and leaving the dirt completely dry, so when I use new soil I always plug the drain holes and let the soil soak in some water and it helps the peat moss soak it up for future waterings.

Sorry for the late response be away from riu but coco would have been better than ffof but I do agree that with lil to no knowledge of cannabis growing basics ffof is best for u but yes it dries fast water everyday or ever other but as for p.h I mix in some ffof with my coco and some organics so I ph from 5.9-6.2

Well what happened two days ago was I watered it inside the Miracle Grow soil, and it looks like the nutes bruned the two leaves at the very very bottom and they yellowed, and my plant went sideways. However, I transplanted into FFOF and made sure its sturdy and in a few hours the plant was able to recuperate back up. But yea it might be a runt like you said since its bagseed anyways. Wont hurt to try to grow!

Too late now as it is sitting inside FFOF. And as of now its just wait and see how the plant reacts to the new soil. Im never using Miracle Gro organic again. Some people swear it works, but the 2012 versions have bark which have high acidic content. Fox farm is much better considering my plant just got saved it was bending and everything before i transplanted it.

What could be wrong with my plant? :-( It has been growing for a month and a half now in miracle gro organic with some perlite mixed in it. I water it manually when the soil is dry. And it is under 4 CFLs 23W and one LED panel 45W. TImer is set on an 18/6 schedule. Im worried this is a waste of time.

Keep going. Too large a planter to start with. Vertical growth will start once the roots start hitting sides and the bottom. It's always roots before shoots. Use a smaller container to start next time. It looks good otherwise.

See I had this planted in a solo cup afer germination and it grew 2 inches. From there I just decided to plant inside a bigger pot and let the roots find their way down. After I took the plant out Miracle Gro I saw that the roots had reached bottom and formed well indeed, but the soil was causing growth problems. So I transplanted the poor plant into Fox Farms Ocean Forest, and that should help solve the problem of slow growth. Miracle Gro Organic Choise just doesnt cut it for growing cannibus.

Did u wash away the mg soil before potting
What do you mean wash away? I washed the pot out thoroughly and clean because I didnt want contamination. Then I put in new soil. I disposed of the old soil in my backyard.

He means wash the soil away from the roots.

How is the plant doing otherwise?
Oh okay my bad. Its doing good i see a sprout of two sets of leaves and nodes and its gotten bigger and wider and its looking more like a MJ plant and not seedling and im loving it. However my results will be posted next week to compare the differences of growth in Mg and Ffof. So far, the plant is doing great.
