dont know what your refering to, if your refering to LST then you can do that if you want to keep the plant low in height and veg it for awile... if your just gonna flower it right away you prolly dont need to lst(unless limited in height) if your just trying to increase yeild then look into...

ive actully grown in the homebox Xs which is alittle smaller floor space but about the same height... if i recall correctly.... also with a 250 hps as far as your light goes it should fit in there fine without burning anything... but what you have to take into acount is your ventalation... i had...

may want to move that plant alittle closer to the light(assuming its rooted) cfls and floro's can be alot closer to your plants then hid lights... good rule of thumb is if its to hot for the back of your arm its too hot for the plant.. as far as soil mix's go if you check the grow faq im pretty...

bigbud : which model do you have? relaxed : well yea but i was looking at more of the fact sheet since i had no opinions..the 150 is rated at 33 db..which is reasonably loud but compared to other fans ex: vortex which is rated at almost 50 db for the same air flow... thats about 100 x...

for the people that have these' fans, are they as quiet as the advertising suggests? for the 100 model(highest RPm) it says less then 25 DB which is like a computer fan...as for the 100x 125 150 4 5and 6 inch fans says there barly over 33 Db with less rpms then the first.. im not sure how...

As far as fans go. Ive seen a page on the s&p fans... and the lowest 3 models are suposed to be like 25-35 Db noise level for around 100-200 cfm as for the vortex there more like 50 Db for 200 cfm.... but i'd like to hear more form people with personal experience with the S&p fans. As for odor...

i believe a 250 hps puts out around 25,000 ish lumens... not exactly sure... u coulda found out with 30 seconds and google.... and yes it use's the same amount of energy... but as for the lumens... it will put out a good deal more..... the bigger the hps the more efficient it is.... as for...

read the grow faq... then reread it about 5 times... then you may have alittle understanding of wtf your doing... either do it the right way or gow it outside growing on a windowsill with soil people TELL YOU is bad to use...with no nutrients and prolly not even phed water... and u expect...

depends on your setup.... if you wanna ventalte it the best way.. get some 6'' ducting a cooltube and a fan... with that you could get plants within inches of the light

hmm... i have a question for anyone smart... if the only reason for root rot is low do in the water... then does an aero setup due with higher res temps... due to the roots being exposed to oxygen?
