1st time AACT brew - Will This Recipe Work?

I've been reading up on the AACT subject for awhile. A lot of the recipes contain a fair number of ingredients. I was considering using the following ingredients at hand for use in flowering. 5 gal bait bucket bloom guano 0-9-0 Unsulfered blackstrap molasses worm castings 1-0-0 Mycogrow...

    World without Cancer, wow!

This is phenomenal. Apparently the research doc at Johns Hopkins that helped him acquire the resources to develop this refers to him as the Thomas Edison of our time. Unreal that a 15 year-old kid would be so highly regarded by such an educated professional in the field. came up with the idea...

    Yield approximation in theoretical situation

What would be a reasonable, perhaps conservative estimate or range for a yield in the following theoretical scenario. 500 true watts -sources- T5 HO high par bulbs and CFL mixed. Six (average to moderately heavy yielding) hybrid ladies that sat in 1/2 gal on 24/0 for 3 months ...Pruned to...

    Back to square one, :/

Everyone has their own preference so this may not appeal to you. But if keeping it really simple is important then I might do something like put 1.8 cubic feet of promix, 5-10lbs of organic worm castings, 1-2 tablespoons of lime, and the perlite and mychorriza in a doubled up 55 gal 6mil...

    Back to square one, :/

Do you let your soil compost at all, before planting, or do you plant directly into straight promix from the bag? Also, did you use any amendments besides the perlite and the mycorrhiza?

    Skellington, 3wks veg, Potassium Deficiency?

Okay. Thanks For the info all!!! It is greatly appreciated. They've got to stay in the 20oz for a wee bit longer, + some cal mag, but I feel comfortable that any remaining symptoms would resolve upon transplant into a larger volume of well mixed/buffered soil. Thanks again!

    Skellington, 3wks veg, Potassium Deficiency?

This plant has the slightest bit of yellowing about the leaf margins...started in the old growth. It was replanted from a small cup to a 20oz cup recently. The roots still had plenty of room. Growth was vigorous despite the symptoms. Shouldn't there be plenty of K in the soil for the...

Quekle: Accidental reveg, Reflower and the odor changed. Is that possible?

Switched it to 12/12, It showed pistols around 1.5 weeks. At around 4 full weeks of 12/12, I accidentally bumped my timer and had a supplemental light stay on 24/0 for a week before I noticed (Querky was noticeably revegging). Anyway, I put her back onto 12/12 and strangely enough, the nice...

T5 replacement ballast, which one do I need?

I have a 6 bulb HO T5 fixture, it was given to me so warranty is not an option. Two bulbs went out about one month apart from one another. I've tried other working bulbs in their place but nothing has worked. A friend assured me that it was a ballast problem. One ballast powers two bulbs and the...

Calling all Nerds, looking for a high quality macro lens.

I'm no photog geek and I'm sure there are quite a few members here with more experience than I. However, have been a dslr owner for around 5 years and have taken mostly macro shots...and did a lot of gear research. For a different hobby, I needed a quality macro lense, so I got a canon f2.8L...

Apollo 13 BX and Querkle - start Querkle earlier?

Thanks, Budologist. I hadn't considered propping up the querkle. That's a pretty simple solution - I like that! Guess that's why you have a degree in Budology.

Coconut Oil - combat harshness and cotton mouth

For cotton mouth, I find it's better than a water based liquid because it is very light and has little viscosity compared to other food oils. And being that it's an oil it lubricates the mouthpiece in a way that lasts longer than water. @cannibineer, I'll chomp on a small piece before a big...

Coconut Oil - combat harshness and cotton mouth

Just figured I'd share this. I always have a jar of coconut oil in the frig. It maintains a solid form even at room temp. But anyway, it is the best when you have wicked cotton mouth. I wholeheartedly recommend trying it. Its also nice to have a little piece of when blazing some harsher...
