Apollo 13 BX and Querkle - start Querkle earlier?

I'd like to do these two strains under the same light. I've seen how slow querkle is in veg, but have no experience with apollo 13 bx. Would you recommend starting the querkle a few weeks earlier than the apollo13 BX? If so, how much of a head start do you think I should give the querkle?

I'd say give the querkle at least a week or two head start... it is a slow grower compared to apollo for sure.

I agree two week head start should be fine. And if the Apollo really starts passin them up you can put something underneath the querkle pots to make them taller so your canopy is nice an even.

This method came in handy when running a perpetual harvest in a tent :)

Thanks, Budologist. I hadn't considered propping up the querkle. That's a pretty simple solution - I like that! Guess that's why you have a degree in Budology.

That'll keep the canopy even, but it won't produce similar size/yield plants... if you just put them at same canopy level and flower them at the same time the ones that are the slow growing querkle doms (and not all querkle doms are my querkle dom cheeses were not slow growers but i had a querkle dom apolloxquerkle cross that was sooooo slow compared to the others). if you start earlier and it's not a slow grower, you could have the opposite problem ;) i am betting the apollos would keep up though they just keep putting out most of the way through flower.
