Northern Lights, CFL Miracle-gro, germ in soil first time grow.

So today is day 25. I watered and clipped a few discolored leaves. I have been suspecting nute-lockout for some time as the leaves were very lightly colored and the run-off pH was 8.0+ So my solution has been to water with pH 5.5 water for the last 2 waterings. Previously I'd been using pH 6...

Northern Lights, CFL Miracle-gro, germ in soil first time grow.

Day 22. So today I watered and I added duct tape around the outside of the green soda bottles. As you can see here, I had the roots uncovered for a while and they grew all the way out faster than I anticipated. I'm surprised by how fast these guys are growing and I'm limited by the space I...

Hey all, So today was a big day for the garden. As stated previously and discussed on the following link, I had some droopy leaves and one plant (kimberly) was quite small and turning brown on a few leaves. droopy plants: over or under water The most common advice I got was to transplant...

    Droopy plants...Over or Under water???

first off, Idon't thanks for the info and +rep for that resource it's badass to say the least! Seeing as I have noticed roots on the periphery of my transparent cups and some jumbled on the bottom I may be inclined to buy into the rootbound theory. I'll be getting some new containers hopefully...

    Droopy plants...Over or Under water???

Drainage is very good, there are holes in the two cups on every plant and in less than a minute a good amount is draining out. Do they look under or over watered? As this is my first grow I don't know. The soil seems dry to me but I'm here for the advice from experienced growers.

    Droopy plants...Over or Under water???

Hey So today is day 15 since I put some seeds in soil to germ. I watered on Saturday (~2.5 days ago). I normally water every 3 days days, and nightly spray the top of my soil with pH 6.0 water. I've noticed my runoff after watering is a nice chunk of the water I put in maybe 20-30% and it is pH...

Getur I like that Idea, I can cut the 2L bottles down to maybe half and that gives my plants more room to grow. Thanks mate, any ideas on when I should transplant? Also I have a correction to make, I guessed on the plant height but they are now 2inches to 3.5 inches tall. Today is day 13 since...

I can't put them into larger pots for flowering. Unfortunately my tent is very small, I didn't even expect all 5 seeds to germ lol, but I just hope to keep them alive until I know which are female and keep the 2 healthiest females...then put them into the larger pots and let them grow! So any...

    Drip Irrigation system

Cool thanks man! Maybe a cool sticky/tutorial is recommended for the masses, this stuff is simple once you know what the hell you're doing. But I still have no clue on the PSI and such fingers crossed.

How about these spikes? Adjustable as you said, which I like lol.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003IR0FEI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&m=A3N05JGJHQF6N8 and I upped it to the 320 GPH pump. Auto-watering system (non-hydro)

I'm a bit confused now gank lol, the press regulators I've seen are to step down pressure from a normal old hose connected to the system. I'd buy a submersible pump (the 130 gph) and drop it in a bucket with my water. And connect to my system...here's what I plan on using...

    Auto-watering system (non-hydro)

Ok thanks man, now that I've read up on similar systems and explored the hardware online I'm comfortable with the setup. Thanks man. BTW do u find that you need a pressure regulator?? I see lots of them online for when you hook up your hose, but I'll be using 5 outputs and a 130 GPH pump.
