Dirtysnowball, thank you for the tip. Can you use alcohol during flowering? Low-cost is always good, but relative. Youth can do things that require much labor. At my age less labor is preferred and the cost of reducing that labor I gladly pay. GGT

Yellowing of the lower leaves in normal in a flowering plant as the plant pulles nutrients out to help in flowering. Just pick them off. If your plant in veging then add nitrogen.
