Sorry for this obvious question but thats what makes me even more confused...
Well I was told earlier that a 8.5 inch pot with a depth of 8 inch is enough for a short stuff Blue Himalaya strain which only reaches a max of 15- 18 inches. Now I have heard that its not enough and im all lost . grow area is only 2 x 2 and height of 3. Opinions please guys...
Im also on 24/0 cycle until flowering and then once it flowers and then 20/4. Will that be OK??

thanks loads :peace:

Thats a auto right ? I was reading a great thread on Autos (search/it's good) about the size of bucket really helps yields on autos. I don't know what size a 8.5x8" is but I would go with at least a 3 gallon pot or bigger if you want a better return. That same thread had good reviews on the Iranian auto.

an 8 inch depth pot is enough for a 15 to 18 inch plant...my square pots are 9 inches deep and ive grown 36 inch plants in it no problem, even looked at the roots after the grow and they werent all crazy root ball or nuthin, people are sometimes TOO picky if u know what i mean...just water a little more if u notice them getting dry...IMG_20110411_071400.jpgDSC02407.jpgIMG_20110420_211003.jpg

but your very wrong on your lighting schedule....id go 20/4 now for the lights, the 4 hours of darkness will give them a tiny bit of sleep so they can use up the eergy contained in the leaves from the 20 hours of lights,....when u decide to go into flower YOU HAVE TO have the lights at 12/12, period...some say 10/14 but dont listen, its your first grow and stick to proven methods, 12 on 12 off, good lcuk

EDIT, i didnt know they were autos, i dont fuck with autos, i guess 20/4 is ok???
