I know people use inoculation chambers to help keep contaminants away. Is it really necessary? I am ready to inoculate and don't have anything to make into a chamber. Just wondering if it is really that big of a deal.
I boiled them for 90 min (above the water) let them cool over night and...
Yellow leaves with brown spots point to potassium deficiency! I'm sorry, these look sad :( What is your pH? What kind of nutrients have you give your plants, how much and how often?
Even just giving them a good spraying every so often can keep bugs at bay. It's not fun for them to keep getting knocked off :) looking forward to more pics
Some of them look better than others. I learned that especially after creating stress (like topping) it's best to just let the plant do its thing for a bit and heal. Don't over water or over fertilize. I've never used smart pots, but just keep a close watch and the plant will tell you...
Need some better photos of the bugs in order to tell, but definitely something is munching! Keep up with your neem oil treatments. You can't expect them to go away after just once. They'll eventually die/want to find a new home/feasting ground
Awesome. I can manage that. After taking the cuttings do I use any sort of rooting hormone? Do I place the cut stem into water or soil? What is the best way to get roots to form?
It happened on my first grow because of light leaks, but it was outdoors in a bad location that I couldn't do anything about. This time I'm indoor and may have had the most minute amount of light leaking in....fixed that though.
yeah unfortunately my camera was stolen. I am using bloom nutes. I did 24/0 with a full 24hours of darkness before going into 12/12. It is a clone. And my concern was that there could be some light leaking in, but it would be minimal. I just fixed that problem though...I don't know how much...
I grow on a budget. But I only grow for personal smoke, if your intent is to sell ,then you need to invest. Use CFLs daylight for veg and soft white for flower. You can get four packs at Home Depot for like $10 a piece. You want to get 23 watters (true watts, not the watt equivalent)...
If you are talking about the two that normally sprout on a preflower, they usually always turn red early. Mine do, but I always use clones. It will be fine.
Some hairs will turn red a little early because of stress, touch, sprays etc. Your plant will be fine as long as you give it some room to breathe and recover and it will continue to produce more pistils.
Not sure if this is already listed elsewhere on the site...I'm guessing yes. But I was wondering if there is a way I can take cuttings from my plant to grow some clones. I have some lower branches that I don't expect to produce real well and I want to get rid of them so that they stop consuming...
Hey guys,
So this is her 2nd week of 12/12 and she is definitely starting to show more pistils and flower development. My question is that new leaves are also still forming at the tops around the new pistil growth. Is this normal? I am wondering because on my first grow my plant started to...
I put my plant into 12/12 about a week ago. Just wondering when I'll start to see flowers. I haven't really noticed any changes yet, but I know it's still early.
Thanks
