    Harvesting at night?

Thanks, my job keeps me in the office at ridiculous hours. So picking a time to harvest is really limited. I think I am going out tonight, at dusk, hopefully everything will be good. Excited because I am harvesting, and nervous because of the potential dangers lol.

    Harvesting at night?

I was thinking of doing this harvest at night. What do you guys think? Has anyone done this, is it preferred to harvesting in the day, and what should I have on me besides a flashlight? If someone has experience that would be great...

My plants are going to be spotted! What should I do?

I cant cover the tracks. The moose has trekked over 4 feet tall bush...the trail he created is quite visible. I think for what's left of this patch, I'll have to harvest early. I think that may be the best solution. I wish I had taken a picture of the mess he created, but I was too...

My plants are going to be spotted! What should I do?

I have about 4 patches in a 500 meter sq area in heavy bush. I went to check on them last week, and I realized that a moose has walked all over my biggest patch. To say I was upset is an understatement. I had planned for deer, bugs, etc...but not a moose. The moose destroyed about 10...

Transplanting out of ground - how far do i dig?

I would say you would have to dig mighty deep, the roots for most plants extend as far as the size of the actual plant. A 4 feet plant, would have 4 feet deep roots. As for shock, make sure you watch the plants after the transplant, and give root nutrients. I've heard some people say giving...

Southern Ontario - Have your plants started to flower yet?

Damn, rain prevented me from checking out the girls. I've learned my lesson about hiking through the bush after a storm... 2 weeks ago, I didn't find any males, getting paranoid. How harmful is it to have males around still for a week while the females are starting to flower?

Southern Ontario - Have your plants started to flower yet?

It dipped in the low 10s...okay, I know it's not THAT cold. But I would feel better if it were warmer. This is my first grow, so I hope everything turns out well. I also forgot to mention the Jack Herer that I have as well.

Southern Ontario - Have your plants started to flower yet?

I am about to visit my girls today...first time in 2 weeks. The last I went, their sex wasn't revealed yet. At first I thought I didn't have any males, but then after coming here, I realized they were just flowering later. So people in Southern Ontario...have your plants started to flower...

    Thieving section....

I am not even smoking and these thieves are making me paranoid. In fact, I am actually dry...no smokes, the irony of growing yet not having any green at the moment would be funny....if I didn't really want a smoke at the moment, lol.

How much do you think she'll yield?

I hiked to my plants today...and bummer. Something got a bunch of them...possible animals. Sigh. Anyways, this is one of the smaller ones...I was hoping someone could give me a guess as to how much it might yield.

When's the latest I should be pulling out males?

I suppose my next question is...what date do flowers usually open?

When's the latest I should be pulling out males?

I live hours from my plants. I went about three weeks ago, and didn't notice any sex signs. Since then it's been raining nicely, so I haven't gone to visit since. The best time for me to go again would be in a week. I can also go tomorrow, but it would be extremely inconvenient, would I be...

hey new looking for advice outdoors and abit late.

What I would be worried about right now is how much veg time you could possibly give them. You have to grow them indoors for at least 3 weeks, if you can't do this, it's going to be difficult.

    Newb male/female plant question

I wish I could; but they're planted several hours away from me. So taking a picture and going back will be a problem. Could you describe the differences during early flowering stages? Or if anyone has pictures, that would be great as well!

    East Coast Guerilla Growers

My Not sure if your question was directed at me, but if it was. I live in the city, so obviously no grow spots here. I drive about 3 hours away, nothing there but woods and cottages. My bestfriend gew up there, and I've been there several times, so we know the area well enough. Typically I...

hey new looking for advice outdoors and abit late.

You are definitely pushing the growing season. I am more than happy to give advice, but I am still a novice, so if an expert gives advice contradictory to mine; you might want to listen to them instead. But here goes my advice. At this point, you might not get much per plant, perhaps about an...

    Newb male/female plant question

That's a great pic, thanks dirrtyd! My next question is...at this point, are most plants still in preflower or as I understand it, they're starting to flower. Does anyone have a pic of what a male and female plant looks like in the early stages of flowering?

    Newb male/female plant question

    Newb male/female plant question

Pardon my question, it's very newb....but I haven't had a chance to check my plants in the last few weeks, meaning I didn't get a chance to find out their sex yet. This is my first grow; I know that you're suppose to look for hairs if it's a female, and what could be described as baby bananas...
