Try some LST on those to improve airflow and allow the light to reach the inner part of the plant since its so bushy.

16 inches is about perfect for those plants. Maybe lower that to 8-12" or less when they become more mature depending on airflow and the temperature of the room. I recommend a small Scrog (or at least topping with some LST) with that light so that you can maximize yield in the smaller area...
