those last two plants are definately male. but as for the others it's kinda hard to tell from the pics cos it's a little far. i'd grow out the first two till it's a little more clear. it could just be new growth. good luck! :D

hey justparanoid, for those y adaptors - do they half the current output to each light? and the other day i asked for them in an elec. store and the dude looked at me like i had three heads:S (or maybe he jnew what i was up to:) ) - so is there like a specific name for them? thanks.

dosen't sound as it much is wrng - keep the lights not too close - pics you'll need too how are the roots? if they're not rooting properly it could be the problem..

its called a whorlled phylotaxy. i just got one a few weeks back (: sadly, however, i heard that they can turn out male - from someone who has had a good few of these that have all been males. but i personally think its just bad luck for him - grow it out they look really cool :)

by "only eight inches tall" i was just saying that if its only that high its not likely to be old enough to be showing preflowers. i honestly think it is male preflowers he's seeing as i couldnt see any other possibility, but then again it could be new growth or something that hes mistaking for...

all weed plants WILL show preflowers under 24/0, it just takes a lot longer, could even be three months. the fact that they are hermies is irrelevant also, light cycle does not depict sex, unless constantly being changed and stressing the plant, thus turning it hermie. keeping a plant on 24/0...

exactly my point - he has the lightcycle on 24/0, so im surprised to see preflowers.

yeah but the time it shows preflowers is proportional to its lightcycle. - in other words a plant on 18/6 will sexually mature faster than a plant on 24/0 even though both are still in vegetative growth.

i would believe that highly - if it werent for that its under 24/24. and dont male preflowers show later and mature earlier?
