even a week of veg is better then 12/12 off the bat. a plant must recognize light cycles in order to 'revert' to "flower mode". It must sense a change, and if it's only seeing 12/12, it wont go right into flower. it will act like veg bug just be lengthy and flimsy. give em a week in 18/6 then...
