so here it is. im pretty lazy so im going to post the pics and any questions or whatever you can ask away. heres the setup though so far.
DIY High Bay 400 watt HPS built into a remote ballast.
DIY Batwing/Cooltube Reflector.
Using a box fan for wind and another floor fan to help cool the light even more. room is staying at 85f right now and 73f when lights go off. i have a space heater that is on low to keep temps in the right range.
I have small PC fan hooked up to a 24v AC adapter type deal that went to an old camcorder. seems to keep the 4" cooltube pretty cool, and i can touch the glass without getting burned and it is not to hot at all. I have the fan venting into the wall...no intake hole yet.
Heres the layout so far. These picture were taken yesterday. I will post new pics up every other day or so.
The big plant (Gucci Mamma) is 2 weeks old (huge i know). The other ones are 3 days old in this picture.
Soil I am using is called Just Right X-Tra All Oraganic potting soil. It's made locally. Seems pretty decent.
Right now i'm am just starting to feed. I am using Bio-Grow...i got a good deal at the hydro store on it and i've been using this shit for a while. This is the new spot, and i fianlly have things dialed in i think.
Right now there are 3 unknown dank seeds, 1 feminized kush seed (Gucci) and 2 NYC Sour Diesel clones.
6 more unkown Dank seeds going in tommorow.
