First time grow - frosty buds

thanks this is lots of good info. the temp is under 80 now more like 76-78. the soil pH test reads at an even 6 but i'm sure that's not 100% accurate, i mistakenly transplanted into sphagnum peat moss -_- tomorrow i will try to work on a remedy for the plant with epsom salt, hopefully i get to...

First time grow - frosty buds

removed the intake, made it a 3rd exhaust. threw my soil pH tester in there and it reads 6.5 now but slowly dropping. these conditions were wonderful for the first 30 days of flowering. it's only now that the plant is showing signs of being unhealthy.

First time grow - frosty buds

to compensate for the high temperatures i added another fan in the top right, and put a fan blowing on the plant. that makes for one intake and 2 exhaust, plus a "wind" thinking about removing the intake and turning it to exhaust as well. as long as air is pushing out it will pull more in...

First time grow - frosty buds

true, this could be a different pheno than you guys are used to. who knows, we'll see how it smokes. only problem at this point... she's not getting any better. i checked the runoff PH (it was yellow/brown coming off) and i got under 6. as i said before i fucked up with the soil, so i'll need a...

First time grow - frosty buds

wow! thanks for all the knowledge. I'll try to get some more exhaust fans going on up there. I know I fucked up with the miracle gro soil but now I have coco for my future grows. I'll check the water runoff as well. I flushed when I saw the leaves like that... but I'll check again next light...

First time grow - frosty buds

i haven't got a larger fan, but the reason i'm inclined not to get one is because i have pollenated the bottom branches with a bushy indica that ended up a male, and i'd rather not spread the pollen all throughout.

does this look like a successful cloning?

and for the record i never used a humidity dome, and the growth kicked up when I placed the clone atop my grow box to keep the medium warm. i think that promotes root growth.

does this look like a successful cloning?

here is the progression of my VERY FIRST clone after its first visible roots, and for the next four or 5 days after. yours looks fine, the yellowing happened on my clone too and it was in really bad shape for a while, but it never died.. give it time and it will pop roots and as soon as those...

First time grow - frosty buds

its a cabinet with two standard PC fans, one is intake down low and the exhaust is up by the light fixture. i could remove some bulbs, out of the 6 that i have in there, but i don't know if that will hinder growth.

First time grow - frosty buds

this morning I had a look at the plant; seems I spoke too soon about the stable genetics. soil was still moist so it's probably not dehydration, although it was close to 90 degrees in there. any idea what this might be? cal mag?

First time grow - frosty buds

I tried comparing her to other widow plants out there and saw some resemblance from some breeders but it usually looked like fatter leaves and a different green. i can't wait for the taste test :D

First time grow - frosty buds

today my friend who gave me the bag of seeds told me they had a white widow seed in there. anyone think she's the one? she has really stable genetics; survived many pH problems, nute burns, clone attempts, and overwater/drought spells... but she's a beauty.

First time grow - frosty buds

nice to hear it from the experts! :leaf: it's tempting not to pick one off and smoke it, but i know the trichomes have no psychoactive ingredients yet so it would be a waste. this baby smells really fruity with a little skunky haze almost like g13 or something. i can't pick out what this might...

First time grow - frosty buds

when you say it like that... it seems obvious haha. I'm questioning her yield. I'm hoping for anything around an oz from the looks of it but I wonder how much bigger those buds will swell.

First time grow - frosty buds

Hi guys I have a random bagseed which seems to be a sativa. I planted this in early november and i saw the first flowers form on January 1st. My purpose of this thread is two things: - to show off what i've done, see what you all think; - to inquire how long until I should harvest do the buds...

    First Time Grower

you remind me of myself. 17 years old, 6 plants in a box in my room [cfl setup] however, i had to chop them cause of construction and i was worried the workers would have obligations to tip off the police or something. i took about 100 seeds out of a half ounce of super low grade mids and...

lst'ing & scrog what is it?

lst'ing is where one ties the top of the plant down to a location such as the lower stem, causing a hormonal change in the plant that makes it want to bush out instead of growing taller. good for smaller grow areas and grow boxes. scrog is short for screen of green, where many planys (such as...

My plant look weird!! PLEASE COMMENT!!

get some CFL bulbs and place them close to the top of the plant. newbies sometimes try to grow with incandescent bulbs and place them very far away. Marijuana plants can't use the light emitted from those bulbs and especially at a distance, causing the plant to stretch and look for light it can...
