It looks like the yellowing part is just the seed leaves (cotyledons). They turn yellow and die after true leaves start developing. You should probably move your CFLs closer because your plants do look a little stretched.

Yea justparanoid, you're probably going to want two fans. One intake and one output otherwise it can get a little warm and fresh air = happy plants. Here are some updated pics. I just wired both of my fans to an old laptop charger. And 9/10 seeds that I planted sprouted!

Thank you! I don't know if it's a good idea to use emergency blankets because they insulate heat. Painting lightproofs the box well enough on it's own and if you use flat white paint it will reflect light well. But if you use the emergency blankets make sure you move a lot of air with your fans.

justparanoid, I just got done installing a small fan in mine, and the plastic is a pain in the ass. I just cut it with a box cutter. I also added velcro to the power strips to secure them to the back wall.

I have no idea what the wattage is. It didn't really come with any information is was just a cheap one from ebay.

If I move the shelf all the way down I have about 2 ft of vertical space. If I took out both shelves I could grow 3 ft high. I plan on keeping the plants small though probably a little over a foot or so.
