Ebb and Grow buckets converted into 36 site recirculating DWC.

I like the setup, looks very clean. Plants look great, only thing I might suggest is to find something to cover the rockwool cubes. I recently stumbled upon Cube Caps, they make different sizes depending on what you're using and even have a cap that you can incorporate drip lines into. I haven't...

outdoor grow my plants are flowering?

If you can you should really just flower those and get more plants for the season that are still in their vegetative cycle for your summer grow. You'll need to light dep the plants if you want them to keep flowering and stay outside, the days are only getting longer at this point. You can do...

Placing indoor plants outdoor in a coldframe? Help please..

Yes you can do it but I would recommend some sort of a space/propane heater to place in the enclosure with a fan circulating and pushing the warm air. With temperatures below 65 photosynthesis rate will slow down so your plants will not grow as fast, temperatures under 50 will stop growth and...

    World Of Hempy

Duly noted thanks. I had one plant that I put in a fabric pot much earlier than the rest and that is one of the bigger plants, very noticeable . I ordered extra fabric pots going to throw them in a 4x4 tray with drip irrigation lines for veg while my other girls are flowering. Hopefully that...

    Re veg question

My understanding is that when you re-veg a plant you want to harvest all of the upper buds and leave some of the lower growth/buds on the plant. Make sure you keep the plant healthy and when the days start to get longer the plant will start the life cycle all over again, so no it won't grow buds...

    World Of Hempy

Here's a little update for you guys, I'm fairly new to indoor and this is my first hempy grow, any suggestions are more than weclome. The strain is Afgoo, flo-n-gro system with fabric liners filled with chunky perlite and topped off with hydroton. They were vegged in rockwool and transplanted...

First Grow Leaf tips curling and dying

Still using just heavy 16 a&b or have you added anything else? Sounds and looks possibly like a potassium deficiency. More pictures would help. I came across this a couple days here on RIU though it might help. Nutrient deficiencies:http://www.mediafire.com/view/?698qtya72u9w03a

    Overfeeding? Need professional help/advice

Thanks Lac, one day the ph was up around 6.2 but brought it down to 5.7, could be it. I would think that would affect all plants equally? or maybe only the weakest/smallest clones couldn't take it?

    Overfeeding? Need professional help/advice

I've been crazy busy and haven't been here to check before they get watered. But my guess is yes they are still wet, I didn't have this problem with my last strain that I grew (afgoo) and I'm doing it the same way, however this is a different strain so I need to change things up. Thanks Smokin...

    World Of Hempy

Just wanted to share, this is my 1st experience growing in straight perlite. So far so good! I have a Flo-n-Gro system with fabric net pots that are filled with big and chunky perlite almost all the way to the top, then covered with hydroton to prevent algae growth and keep perlite from rising...

    Overfeeding? Need professional help/advice

Setup: Strain: Trainwreck x Shiva Skunk Flood and Drain Hydro 1x a day for 15 min - ph hovers around 5.7-6 - PPMs were too high @ 500+ for 3 days before lowered to 300 600w MH Dimmed to 75% - Air cooled hood pulling(300cfm) through carbon filter in 5x10 tent Passive intake Heavy 16 A & B -...

First Grow Leaf tips curling and dying

I use Heavy 16 and always at half strength. I do use it for hydro, but same principles apply. Don't know what you're working with but if you can make sure your water is ph'd correctly and record the ppms/ph for every feeding. The leaves look fairly dark on the plants, probably overfed a bit. I...

    Growing on extremely steep slopes

Not sure what you have access to, but if you do have the money and resources a 250 to 1000 gallon reservoir positioned up above the garden would make everything easier. Depending on the slope of the hill it would need to be at least 25-50 ft above the garden to get decent pressure. To get the...

    Post Your Purple Pics

Grape Ape! This was a lot of fun to grow, Sorry I don't have any later pictures, but when it got cold here many of the buds turned completely purple.

    My first grow

If I were you I'd just go to another dispensary and buy a quality clone with strong roots. If the clone was rooted when you bought it you should have plenty of new growth by now. Once rooted new growth is noticeable on all my clones on a daily basis. When you are out of the cloning phase try...

    looking for lighting

I used the ipower 600w digital ballast with success. I haven't had any problems with it yet... Only used for one grow cycle so far. Definitely a decent price for what you get, it came with rope ratchets and a shitty timer (still works) also.

    different lighting in 24/0 experience

If you're vegging you should be using a MH bulb, not HPS. It's not a good idea to move them back and forth between cfl and hps. The hps lighting is much more intense than the cfl bulbs. It usually takes a few days for plants to adjust to the lighting. More experienced growers will actually use...

    uninterruptible power supply (battery backup)

Sounds like a good idea. I was just thinking about doing the same thing. I'm curious does the backup power from the batteries turn the equipment on if the power fails, or do you have to go in and plug everything into the inverter?
