I know I cant use a 1000 watt light bulb in a 400 watt light ballast, but can I use a 400 watt light in a 100 watt ballast? im asking because my friend will sell me a 1000 watt ballast for a 100 bucks but, I dont need this big of a light and dont want to waste the electricity. Thanks in advance...

I have three remaining plants out of an original 16. They started as indoors but I had to move them. So I put them outside in the ground. With a lot of problems with deers and grasshoppers I know only have the three left. On two of the plants there are hardly any fan leaves and the any new ones...

Im no expert but I believe all the drooping could be from over watering the plant. Just because the top soil may be dry, doesnt mean an inch or two down in the cup is. Did you put drainage holes at the bottom of those cups? Check using your finger next time before watering, stick it down about...

Also I'm using miracle grow organic potting soil for now, but plan on switching to fox farm organic. I think I was over watering at first because some of the plants bottom leaves are drooping and two turned yellow and are dying off the plant.

I was thinking of purchasing the 400 watt HPS cool tube. Does any one have any experience with one. If so what are your thoughts? Also is it cool just around the glass or the whole thing is cool? B/C Im already having major heat issues. THX in advance.
