hey guys, so i started drying my buds a few days ago, i trimmed them and hung them up properly in a dark place, aka my closet. However, it is ridiculously cold here right now and especially in our house, and personally i feel like the buds are not drying like people describe the process...

no i'm not using leds, the buds look fine now, they just took a while to change, i guess these tend to so i'm not really worried about it.

it is about 10 weeks. the strain is different then the other plant, but after waiting a couple days they have actually started to change surprisingly. i'll try to post some pictures in the next day to show you guys. the buds are starting to get pretty dam big now. i'll report back soon.

Wow thanks man, I didn't look at the tri's yet. I'm gonna take them to work soon and look at them under the microscope. Hopefully they will look done.

hey so i have a sativa that is really far in flowering but the buds aren't turning red, they are still all very much white. there might be a hair here or there that is red but not like my other plant. The buds are big and all but they are not changing. Should i harvest anyways?

yeah i agree man, it's really hard to know if what people say is legit or even reasonable. But the flushing actually makes sense. as well as the dark period before drying. i just fertzd the girl and plan on flushing in a couple days, she's still got some time left on some of the buds.

okay that makes sense to me, the flushing process isn't a really fast one. but would i water at all before that 24-36 hr period of no watering before harvest?

hey another question, do i flush the plant all at once or over the course of a day or so? also, what are peoples ideas about trimming before or after drying?

I mean i haven't seen any science about it but it makes sense. You've been growing with all these fertz and all which get up into your bud. You don't want that junk it there when you smoke so flushing should get rid of it all, thus making a lot better of a smoke. You know when you smoke that...

okay that makes sense, now i've never flushed before and i know your supposed to use a lot of water but afterwards to you water the plants at all that final week? i've also heard of people using the molasses after flushing as well. I use molasses anyways though.
