drying while it's cold?

hey guys, so i started drying my buds a few days ago, i trimmed them and hung them up properly in a dark place, aka my closet. However, it is ridiculously cold here right now and especially in our house, and personally i feel like the buds are not drying like people describe the process, everyone says they should shrink a lot during these few days, however mine barely look different. So i guess this could be from me trimming so close initially, or my real question is do you think that the cold weather is affecting the drying process? Cause i want to start the paper bad and jar process soon but i don't want to do it if they are not ready. Here are some pics as well. Oh and the temp is like 50-60 degrees. Thanks.

It just takes a little longer, 5-7 days more. Be sure to have a fan moving air across them, or mold will be a problem. I think paper bags leave a bad taste.
