Hey gurus ... what kind of bug is this? I live in Socal and these little buggers love my plants. I've see them yellow like this but also with an orange/red tinge. The big question is ... friend or foe? It doesn't seem to be causing any harm but what do I know? Thanks in advance!

It's just a few leaves. It has been in the 90's lately here in cali, dry eat. I'll get a pic tomorrow. In the meantime, I replanted it in a larger 7 gallon pot. I thought maybe it was outgrowing the 5 gallon bucket. In general, are the 5 gallon buckets large enough to take to harvest in? Thanks...
